Circular migration in Thailand

Circular migration is a temporary form of movement and has emerged as a subset in the field of migration and has gained importance since it is the major factor affecting population movements within the countries. This study documents the role of socio-demographic and other characteristics in rural-urban migration decisions in Northeast Thailand, using data originally gathered to redirect rural to urban movement in the area.
