Indeed, one of the outstanding characteristics of our society is its complex and diversified economic growth since the end of the Second World War. One of the consequences of this growth is the opening of new resources: oil, natural gas,and uranium. However, the development of these natural resources has affected older, more firmly established industries, such as coal mining.
