This thesis focuses on consequences of the full implementation of Basel III regulations and what impact it will have on the banking sector. The purpose of Basel III is to replace Basel II as a global regulatory standard, because of its predecessor's flaws, such as the amplifying of banks' procyclicality, overreliance on credit rating agencies or the incentive to securitize its assets. The examination of Basel III regulations has shown that the most difficult task for banks would be to raise the capital for increased requirements and implementation of liquidity ratios. This will undoubtedly change the behaviour of banks. Using the panel data model, we will analyze the relationship between the changes in regulatory capital and our dependent variables, which consist of change in interest rates, change in the amount of loans granted and the change of stability of a bank, in countries from the Visegrad Four, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary. Using estimated coefficients from our regression, we examine whether there will be unintended negative effects of Basel III implementation and whether there will be an increase in a stability of banks.

This master's thesis is focused on the evaluation of the financial performance of a selected company and its competitors by benchmarking from 2014 to 2018. It is divided into a theoretical part, which introduces the concept of performance, selected classical and modern methods of financial performance applied in the practical part. After the evaluation of these applied methods in the last part of the thesis will be proposed measures to improve the current situation.

This diploma thesis deals with economic health of the company JAKOS, a.s. in years 2005–2008. There was used selected methods of the financial analysis. Based on recognized facts I propose measures which should result in the improvement of financial situation of the company.

This master‘s thesis is concerned with the analysis of financial situation of MERIT Group, Inc. during the years 2008 – 2014 using suitable methods of financial analysis. It also proposes changes for strengthening the company‘s financial situation. Based on the analysis results are compared with a selected competitor. Although the company went through a period of crisis during its existence, it achieved above-average results in the last two years in a number of areas of financial analysis and clearly shows a positive trend of development of financial indicators in time.

The Master’s thesis is focused on assessment of financial situation of company Prostějovská stavební společnost - PROSTAS, s.r.o. since year 2003 till 2006. The assessment is carried out in form of financial analysis on base of theoretical knowledge and consequentially applied on company. From established results I am suggesting recommendations which should lead to improvement of company’s economical situation.

The diploma work focuses on evaluation of financial situation of REDA a.s. (Inc.) company in years 2006 – 2008. There will be a financial analysis implemented, based on theoretical findings which will help us to create the evaluation of the company. Then I suggest recommendations which should have a positive influence on the economical aspect of the company based on the results of this financial analysis.

The thesis deals with the recognition of the financial situation of „Hospodářské obchodní družstvo Jabloňov-Ruda“ in years 2012 – 2016. The first part of the thesis contains theoretic findings that are subsequently applied at the evaluation of the financial health of the analysed organization during the application of chosen methods of the strategic and financial analysis.On the basis of the total recognition of the financial situation of the agricultural co-operative, actions leading to improvements of an exist status are brought in.

This Master's thesis deals with current financial situation of non-profit-making organization called Nadeje o.s. For classification were applied some methods of financial analysis, whose results were applied to suggestions for financial strategy in following period.

The master’s thesis evaluates the financial situation of the RACOM, Ltd. company. There are used some selected methods of financial analysis during the period 2004-2008. Theoretical and methodological basis of financial analysis are outlined in the first part of thesis. Selected instruments are applied on this company in the next part. Results from the financial analysis and some suggestions which could lead to better economic performance of the RACOM, Ltd. company are in the final part of this thesis.
