En el presente proyecto de la bebida Mood-On, que está hecha a base de papas y frutos exóticos, se muestra su sostenibilidad a través de los distintos análisis realizados en Lima Metropolitana. Asimismo, este producto va dirigido hacia los sectores socioeconómicos A, B, C y que se encuentren en el rango de edad de 18 a 24 años. Del mismo modo, podemos indicar que, si bien hay una presencia consistente de bebidas RTD en el mercado peruano, los consumidores no se identifican con los productos ya establecidos. Por consiguiente, podemos mencionar que el mercado limeño tiene una necesidad que no ha sido satisfecha; ya sea por falta de sabores u otro factor clave. En adición a esto, para la realización del trabajo, se desarrollaron entrevistas a los usuarios para ratificar el nivel de aceptación del producto, a su vez, se hizo contacto con las licorerías a través de medios tradicionales y no tradicionales para la estimación de las ventas. Asimismo, se contactó con un ingeniero de alimentos para la elaboración de la receta, puesto que se ha tenido que considerar diferentes aspectos con respecto a la bebida RTD. Finalmente, se ha requerido para la inversión un total de S/27,261.72 para que se puedan iniciar las actividades de producción y la utilidad neta que se generará en el primer año es de39,186.95 nuevos soles, 60,913.85 nuevos soles en el segundo año y para el tercer año ascendería a 613,802.47 nuevos soles. / In the present project of the Mood-On drink, which is made from potatoes and exotic fruits, its sustainability is shown through the different analyzes carried out in Metropolitan Lima. Likewise, this product is aimed at socioeconomic sectors A, B, C, and that are in the age range of 18 to 24 years. Similarly, we can indicate that although there is a consistent presence of RTD beverages in the Peruvian market, consumers do not identify with the already established products. Therefore, we can mention that the Lima market has a need that has not been met; either for lack of flavors or another key factor. In addition to this, to carry out the work, interviews were carried out with users to ratify the level of acceptance of the product, in turn, contact was made with the liquor stores through traditional and non-traditional means for estimating sales. Likewise, a food engineer was contracted to prepare the recipe, since different aspects of the RTD drink had to be considered. A critical investigation of the impact of on-consumption alcohol outlets on land use compatibility in residential areas in the Umjindi local municipality area of jurisdiction, Mpumalanga Province.Ntiwane, Bongane Cornelius. 12 September 2014 (has links)
The compatibility of on-site consumption alcohol outlets as land use is predicted by the
acceptance level of the utility or disutility they enjoy amongst residents in a neighbourhood. The
density of alcohol outlets is argued in literature as correlating to the significant positive rate of
amenity effects that include property crime, alcohol related arrests, drunk-driving, fatal and
severe alcohol-induced accidents, violence and assault amongst many others. The problems
associated with on-site consumption alcohol outlets have been insistently brought to the attention
of the Umjindi Local Municipality in the Ehlanzeni District area in Mpumalanga Province by the
residents of the Emjindini neighbourhood. The study is based on the hypothesis that the high
density of on-site consumption alcohol outlets contributes to the incompatibility of such outlets
with residential areas. In addressing the research sub-questions and validating the research
hypothesis, the study adopted various methods (including land use surveys, interviews,
administration of questionnaires, literature review and document review) for the collection,
analysis, interpretation and discussion of data. The study reveals that the higher density of alcohol
consumption outlets is significant in areas of low socioeconomic status. The Emjindini
Townships are located with the density of 1 on-site consumption alcohol outlet per 263 people.
Liquor legislation in South Africa leaves a lot to be desired in its guidelines for alcohol outlet
density, public participation, location radius and local authority involvement. In addition, our
findings showed that the significantly unacceptable level of impact thereof is experienced
especially in the night, in areas characterised by the high density of on-site consumption alcohol
outlets. The on-site consumption alcohol outlets are seen as compatible land uses in residential
areas for the reason that, the unacceptable level of impact is insignificant during the day. The
adoption of preferred and practical guidelines related to the locality and density of on-site
consumption alcohol outlets, compatibility performance standards and public participation are
recommended for policy and practice. The amendment to the liquor law is subsequently proposed

Spatio-temporal analyses of the distribution of alcohol outlets in CaliforniaLi, Li January 2014 (has links)
Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) / The objective of this research is to examine the development of the California alcohol outlets over time and the relationship between neighborhood characteristics and densities of the alcohol outlets. Two types of advanced analyses were done after the usual preliminary description of data. Firstly, fixed and random effects linear regression were used for the county panel data across time (1945-2010) with a dummy variable added to capture the change in law regarding limitations on alcohol outlets density. Secondly, a Bayesian spatio-temporal Poisson regression of the census tract panel data was conducted to capture recent availability of population characteristics affecting outlet density. The spatial Conditional Autoregressive model was embedded in the Poisson regression to detect spatial dependency of unexplained variance of alcohol outlet density. The results show that the alcohol outlets density reduced under the limitation law over time. However, it was no more effective in reducing the growth of alcohol outlets after the limitation was modified to be more restrictive. Poorer, higher vacancy rate and lower percentage of Black neighborhoods tend to have higher alcohol outlet density (numbers of alcohol outlets to population ratio) for both on-sale general and off-sale general. Other characteristics like percentage of Hispanics, percentage of Asians, percentage of younger population and median income of adjacency neighbors were associated with densities of on-sale general and off sale general alcohol outlets. Some regions like the San Francisco Bay area and the Greater Los Angeles area have more alcohol outlets than the predictions of neighborhood characteristics included in the model.
