This paper shows what is the main purpose of CRM through the air crash investigations and human factor analysis. According to this findings, the last chapter presents problems of flight crew planning and personnel selection.

The assignment of this diploma thesis followed previous analysis of the regions of Valašsko and Haná. The outcome of this analysis showed several problems. One of the most serious problems is a lack of spiritual and liturgical sites in the area of Zlín. The analysis and synthesis preceding this diploma thesis are enclosed. The analysis of sites of pilgrimage in the area of Zlín was one of the studied subjects. The assignment of the diploma thesis was created using a combination of discovered data – design of the site of pilgrimage including a church and spiritual centre. This building is to support local community, christian religion and rehabilitation of the present site of pilgrimage Svatá voda – Kaménka. This diploma thesis deals with the design of a church as a site of pilgrimage, with facilities and café for the public. It also deals with the design of a spiritual centre with weekly spiritual programme. There are also four flats designed as accommodation for clergymen. The designed buildings are located 250 metres away form the present site of pilgrimage Svatá voda.

Možnosti řešení problému populací holubů v českých městech / Possible ways to deal with pigeon population problem in Czech towns

The thesis addresses issues related to the overbred population of feral pigeons (Columbia livia forma Domestica) in Czech towns. It approaches the subject from procedural, bureaucratic perspective. Specifically, the thesis examines the factors which affect the selection of methods of the feral pigeons' population regulation in four Czech towns: Special attention is devoted to the question whether the method of controlled city dovecotes, used to regulate pigeon populations, could come in useful in the Czech context. Research carried out for the thesis is qualitative; the data comes from semi-structured interviews with experts. Analysis of the collected data focuses on verification of authenticity of the provided information. Subsequently, effectiveness of cage entrapment, which considerably prevails over the other methods used, is considered in ethical, ecological, and economic respect. The thesis also surveys the health risk posed by the feral pigeon population to public and how views of the public concerning the issue affect the regulation process. The overall aim is to highlight the drawbacks of the decision making process, offer possible alternatives, and prompt more research.

This thesis aims to investigate and discuss the conceptual and operational contexts of innovative approaches in the design of multi residential housing in Turkey over three selected cases. Flexibility, as an inclusive concept that encompasses adaptability and typological variety, is used to structure the framework of the discussion. The inquiry is based on the idea that flexibility and the associated concepts can be used to develop, in N. John Habraken&rsquo / s words, &ldquo / a new and challenging kind of architecture&rdquo / in the context of multi residential housing. The housing blocks designed by Ahmet G&uuml / lg&ouml / nen in Eryaman 3rd Stage, and those designed by Tuncay &Ccedil / avdar in the same stage, and Levent Loft 1 project designed by Tabanlioglu Architects are selected as cases. These projects advocate flexibility and also exemplify an innovative approach to design. The thesis introduces a conceptual framework that allows dealing with flexibility in the housing context, and then evaluates the selected cases by means of this conceptual framework.

The main task of diploma is creating a sacral object and community centre of Salesians in Brno-Líšeň. A construction of the Salesian complex started in 1998. As a result, the whole complex of institution got to the district of Brno-Lisen with the help of the endowment fund for youth. The Congregation focuses on the methods of educating the youth of Don Bosco, the father and teacher of the youth, the first head of the Salesian. The creation of a church is a very desirable step for the Salesian Center, because Masses are currently being celebrated in the existing building in the gym, where not everything is needed to carry out of the event. The church should be developed in the vicinity of Salesian centre and has to be available for a wide range of societies. The architectural project includes the designing of church, parish building and enviroment. The form and view of the complex suit to this environmental area and react on its entire structure. The object consists of two forms, which are connected by the horizontal communication. In the middle of the Salesian complex, there is a semi-open area. The first object is a church with a capacity of approximately 200 hundred visitors, the second object is a parish building, which perform the functions of administration with multifunction space for the exhibitions, aparmtments and offices for its employees.

Rekonstrukce městského úřadu / Renovation of municipality office

This thesis deals with the reconstruction of the Adamov municipality,based on a solution of barrier-free building use, overall improvement of the energy performance of the building and creation of new office spaces in the form of a loft. The object is located on a building site in the town Adamov. The object is currently connected to a III. road, parking space and utilities. It is a building with three above-ground floors and one basement floor. The ground plan of the municipality is rectangle-shaped, the maximum outline dimensions of the rectangle are 28.38 x 16.70m. Existing vertical supporting constructions are mason made of fired bricks. The roof frame structure is made of wood, construction framework stagnant stool, fired tiles are used as roofing. Floor surfaces are formed by ceramic tiles or vinyl. The entrance part is covered with a flat roof. The entrance area will be redesigned as a barrier-free, with a connection to the elevator that goes through the entire object. The sanitary facilities in the first and in the second floor will be renovated. Newly created attic floor will be – except for the lift - connected to the interior of the building by a new steel staircase and the walls on this floor will be of a light type. Holes fillings will be changed in the perimeter walls. A thermal insulation of the entire object by a contact heating system will take place. This thesis consists of preparatory work and studies, implementing documentation, text reports, calculations of the thermal technical assessment and fire safety solutions. Project documentation is made in accordance with currently valid laws, regulations and standards.

In the first part was attention given to history which confirmed the high recovery factor of Brno´s industrial past to reuse. Next part was focused on analysis of the XXth century forms of collective housing, especially the loft housing, to characterize the perspective habitation in selected factories. Finally was the contemporary housing observed through three specific aspects to aim the conversion of Brno´s textile factories.

The project includes a study of the urban redevelopment an urban public space, formerly a laundry service, in the central urban area. Conversion of this complex includes the revitalization and redevelopment of old buildings and surroundings, new buildings, open spaces for relaxing with a wide program of functions and services such as fitness, galleries, restaurants, office space, retail space, housing and loft living. The objects and surfaces are placed or created for an easy living for visitors and movement of pedestrians. An important part of the project is to address and transform the river embankment. The study takes into account all the specificities of contemporary architecture in the historic environment.
