A Tableau Algorithm for SROIQ under Infinitely Valued Gödel Semantics

Borgwardt, Stefan, Peñaloza, Rafael 20 June 2022 (has links)
Fuzzy description logics (FDLs) are knowledge representation formalisms capable of dealing with imprecise knowledge by allowing intermediate membership degrees in the interpretation of concepts and roles. One option for dealing with these intermediate degrees is to use the so-called Gödel semantics. Despite its apparent simplicity, developing reasoning techniques for expressive FDLs under this semantics is a hard task. We present a tableau algorithm for deciding consistency of a SROIQ ontology under Gödel semantics. This is the first algorithm that can handle the full expressivity of SROIQ as well as the full Gödel semantics.

Systémy morfismů nad Gödelovou fuzzy logikou / Systémy morfismů nad Gödelovou fuzzy logikou

Luhan, Ondřej January 2014 (has links)
This work introduces some very basic concepts of category theory as built up over first-order predicate Gödel fuzzy logic (with crisp identity and the delta operator). A fuzzy variation of a classical concept of a category is considered. Then several systems of morphisms loosely based on the crisp categories Rel and Set are defined and examined. Accordingly, all the systems under consideration consist of fuzzy sets as objects and various kinds of binary fuzzy relations as morphisms. Our approach is a logic-based graded generalization of crisp (clas- sical) category-theoretical approaches to fuzzy sets, which have been initiated by Goguen. 1

Hodnocení výkonnosti dodavatelů v nízkoobrátkovém průmyslu / Supplier Quality Perfomance Evaluation in Low Volume Business Environment

Minaříková, Gabriela January 2016 (has links)
This thesis deals wit the evaluation of the suppliers in low volume business environment. Current means of suppliers evaluation are analyzed. Then new criteria and means for suppliers evaluation based on softcomputing methods are proposed. The proposed solution is then compared to current evaluation of suppliers.

Aplikace fuzzy logiky při hodnocení dodavatelů firmy / The Application of Fuzzy Logic for Rating of Suppliers for the Firm

Jančíková, Iva January 2007 (has links)
This Diploma thesis analysis the supply environment of VKV HORÁK s.r.o. according to the requirements of the quality management ISO 9001:2001 regarding the suppliers rating. The thesis also analyses the present way of suppliers rating and brings new, more sofisticated model of rating using the fuzzy logic. The new method should succesfully solve the questions of suppliers rating and should be suitable for the firm according to the resources needed for its application.

An intelligent vertical handoff decision algorithm in next generation wireless networks

Nkansah-Gyekye, Yaw January 2010 (has links)
<p>The objective of the thesis research is to design such vertical handoff decision algorithms in order for mobile field workers and other mobile users equipped with contemporary multimode mobile devices to communicate seamlessly in the NGWN. In order to tackle this research objective, we used fuzzy logic and fuzzy inference systems to design a suitable handoff initiation algorithm that can handle imprecision and uncertainties in data and process multiple vertical handoff initiation parameters (criteria) / used the fuzzy multiple attributes decision making method and context awareness to design a suitable access network selection function that can handle a tradeoff among many handoff metrics including quality of service requirements (such as network conditions and system performance), mobile terminal conditions, power requirements, application types, user preferences, and a price model / used genetic algorithms and simulated annealing to optimise the access network selection function in order to dynamically select the optimal available access network for handoff / and we focused in particular on an interesting use case: vertical handoff decision between mobile WiMAX and UMTS access networks. The implementation of our handoff decision algorithm will provide a network selection mechanism to help mobile users select the best wireless access network among all available wireless access networks, that is, one that provides always best connected services to users.</p>

Fuzzy Markovovy řetězce a jejich využití v řízení rizik / Fuzzy Markov chains and their use in risk management

Šindelková, Petra January 2015 (has links)
This thesis deals with the application of Markov chains for the production of concrete products. The theoretical part is focused on clarifying the concepts of risk management and describes the procedures for dealing with classical Markov chains. There are presented basics of fuzzy logic and finally there is explained the procedure using fuzzy logic in calculating of classical Markov chains in the subsection entitled Fuzzy Markov chains. The practical part describes production process, namely concrete pavements. On this production process is applied knowledge from the theoretical part and there is a comparison and evaluation of two methods of Marcov chains calculation (classic and fuzzy approach).

Neuro-fuzzy systémy / Neural-Fuzzy Systems

Dalecký, Štěpán January 2014 (has links)
The thesis deals with artificial neural networks theory. Subsequently, fuzzy sets are being described and fuzzy logic is explained. The hybrid neuro-fuzzy system stemming from ANFIS system is designed on the basis of artificial neural networks, fuzzy sets and fuzzy logic. The upper-mentioned systems' functionality has been demonstrated on an inverted pendulum controlling problem. The three controllers have been designed for the controlling needs - the first one is on the basis of artificial neural networks, the second is a fuzzy one, and the third is based on ANFIS system.  The thesis is aimed at comparing the described systems, which the controllers have been designed on the basis of, and evaluating the hybrid neuro-fuzzy system ANFIS contribution in comparison with particular theory solutions. Finally, some experiments with the systems are demonstrated and findings are assessed.
