Goal of the thesis Marketing strategy of brand Zlate is to evaluate newly formulated marketing strategy of the brand and after that on the basis of own questionaire to suggest future brand activities that will strenghten Zlaté brand on the Czech and Slovak markets. Theoretical part deals with marketing in general, strategies and planning and applicatin of marketing plan to individual parts of marketing mix. Practical part describes brand Zlate as such, its position in Kraft Foods, evaluation of past marketing strategy of the brand, way of creation of the new one and its implimentation to product and product portfolio, price and distribution strategy and communication as advertising, sales promotion and PR. Own questionaire looks into perception of the brand, its consumption and a short exploration into preferences of consumers as for suggestions of new products.

The main aim of this graduation thesis is to analyze current marketing strategy of the company and to propose changes which would help the company to perform better. At the beginning of the theoretical part I firstly concentrate on general understanding of the concept of marketing and service marketing. Second chapter is focused on specifics of school marketing management and application of theory of marketing mix on the area of education. In the methodical part I start with company introduction, followed by definition of its target group and competition analysis. Then, on the basis of my own research and experiences, I analyze each part of marketing mix of the school and I perform its SWOT analysis. In the next chapter I show results of my own research in more detail and at the end there is a conclusion with my proposals how to improve current marketing strategy of the company.

The master thesis is focused on marketing and its applicability in non-profit sector. In general, it evaluates the usefulness of marketing in a non-profit organization and also the specific issues of social marketing and its usage in this context. The various marketing tools are explained more closely. The theoretical findings are used in a practical part which is devoted to the non-profit organization Light for the World. After the presentation of the organization, the marketing practices defined in the theoretical part are applied. Based on a marketing analysis, the strengths and weaknesses of the organization are identified and the opportunities and threats are specified. A marketing research is also included and leads to an identification and description of the target segments of donors and volunteers and outlines the possible changes and own recommendations for marketing mix in the organization.

The thesis deals in the first part with the definition of social networks, their historical development and the basic principles of the operation. The content of the second part is focused on the benefits and risks connected to the usage of the social networks and contains the analysis of trends in the marketing practice. The next part is devoted to the most used social networks and describes their functional elements, which can be used by the companies to achieve their marketing objectives. The practical part of this thesis begins with the introduction of the company IBM, their marketing strategy and evaluation of the activities within social networks. The main objective of this thesis is to propose steps that will help IBM to avoid the mistakes which are currently being made. These steps include mainly the layout design and the usage of the most frequently used functionalities to allow more effective utilization of the social networks in marketing strategy. Although is Facebook the key element for the application of the proposed steps, the attention is also devoted to Twitter and the newly established social network called Google+.

The second theoretical part is focused on marketing, marketing researches, marketing mix 8 P, segmentation of the market, marketing instruments and marketing strategies. The practical part is given to analysis of the travel agency Travel Support taking Czech fisherman to Norway, then to analysis of its market environment, to analysis of its target group, to analysis of competition and of previous marketing and communication strategy. SWOT analysis is made up on the grounds of these researches. Particular, concrete recommendations building the new marketing strategy for next two years were defined according to the founded results.

Kanske finns det totalt kundorienterade företaget inte ens i teorin då det är svårt att veta exakt hur alla kunder värderar olika kundorienterade satsningar.</p><p>Även om man söker kriterierna för det totalt kundorienterade företaget ser man olika behov och önskemål beroende på var man letar och vilken typ av kund man undersöker. En kund reagerar positivt på delar som andra kunder kan reagera negativt på.</p>
