VR-MED : linguagem de dom?nio espec?fico para desenvolvimento de ambientes virtuais aplicados ao ensino de medicina de fam?lia e comunidade

This type of game is known as Serious Games. In the Educational area, this kind of tool is part of what is known as Educational Objects. Nowadays the increase in the quantity of available Educational Objects has become notable. Some in fact are even incorporating Virtual Reality resources. The development of this kind of application demands a considerable computational effort due to the specification of involved areas (games, education, and virtual reality). Furthermore, the lack of normative devices, the absence of standardization as much for the interface elements as technical interaction, makes the construction of these applications to be carried out without the possibility to reuse the already existing artifacts. This causes new applications to redo what could have been reutilized. Within Software Engineering, the Software Reuse area seeks ways to promote the reutilization of software artifacts in order to increase productivity, improve the trust in the quality of the applications, and diminish the costs of the development process. This area attempts to identify, organize and gather functionalities that are similar to the same application domain in order to compose a collection of applications with a specific set of characteristics. One of the tools to take advantage of this common set of characteristics, the Domain-Specific Language, tends to solve particular problems in the modeled domain such as the creation and documentation of rules and important matters of the domain as its principal advantages. Heading off to the VR-MED, described here in this work, the objective is to permit the development of virtual environments in a computer game mode applied to teaching in the Family Medicine domain. Based on a high level of abstraction visual notation and its ease in use, from both programmers and professionals in the health department, the VR-MED allows the creation of executable virtual environments (games) starting from textual medical cases normally used in practice in medicine school. / Al?m do entretenimento, um jogo pode ser aplicado no treinamento de profissionais ou como ferramenta de aux?lio para o aprendizado de alunos. Este g?nero de jogo ? conhecido como Jogos S?rios. Na ?rea da Educa??o, tipo de ferramenta faz parte dos chamados Objetos de Aprendizagem. Atualmente, pode-se observar um aumento da quantidade de Objetos de Aprendizagem dispon?veis, alguns inclusive incorporando recursos de Realidade Virtual. O desenvolvimento deste tipo de aplica??o demanda um esfor?o computacional consider?vel dadas as especificidades das ?reas envolvidas (jogos, educa??o, realidade virtual). Al?m disto, a falta de normatiza??o dos dispositivos, a aus?ncia de padroniza??o, tanto dos elementos de interface, quanto das t?cnicas de intera??o, faz com que a constru??o destas aplica??es seja realizada sem a possibilidade de reutiliza??o de artefatos j? existentes, fazendo com que novas aplica??es tenham de refazer o que poderia ser reaproveitado. Dentro da Engenharia de Software, a ?rea de Reuso busca formas de promover a reutiliza??o de artefatos de software para aumentar a produtividade, melhorar a confian?a na qualidade das aplica??es e diminuir oscustos do processo de desenvolvimento. Esta ?rea busca identificar, organizar e agrupar funcionalidades similares de um mesmo dom?nio para compor uma cole??o de aplica??es, com um conjunto espec?fico de caracter?sticas. Uma das ferramentas usadas para tirar proveito deste conjunto comum de caracter?sticas, as Domain Specific Language visam resolver problemas particulares do dom?nio modelado, tendo como principais vantagens a cria??o e a documenta??o de regras e particularidades importantes deste dom?nio.Partindo deste cen?rio a VR-MED, descrita neste trabalho, tem o objetivo de permitir o desenvolvimento de ambientes virtuais, na forma de jogos de computador, aplicados ao dom?nio do Ensino da Medicina de Fam?lia e Comunidade. Com base em uma nota??o visual de alto n?vel de abstra??o e de f?cil utiliza??o, tanto por parte de programadores quanto de profissionais de sa?de, a VR-MED permite a cria??o de ambientes virtuais execut?veis (jogos) a partir de casos m?dicos textuais, comumente usados na pr?tica de ensino de medicina.
