The object of the diploma thesis is to analyze the suppliers of the company STABILA ČR s. r. o. In the thesis are used methods that utilize the basic principles of fuzzy logic. Evaluation of the best suppliers for 2011 is provided in MS Excel and MATLAB. The target is to determine the best material suppliers of the year 2011.

The selection of the supplier is realized by the use of fuzzy logic. Theoretical bases are also described in this dissertation. Moreover, there is an analysis of the risks and a proposal for the solution to this problem in the Microsoft Excel and Matlab programmes. The result of the dissertation should provide an instrument for objective evaluation of the suppliers, which is the company in collaboration with.
