Graphical presentation of data stored in databases is commonly achieved with desktop software which requires the data to be transferred from the database to the local machine and then processed with software. This method requires knowledge in database-related languages and tools such as SQL, and is thus demanding or inaccessible to users without a certain level of education or experience in these languages and tools. The goal of this study is to create an application that eliminates the need for advanced competence in such languages and tools to make it possible for a broader subset of users to graphically present data stored in databases. To achieve this goal, a web application has been developed that features a simple GUI for connecting to a remote database and creating charts from the data stored there. The application generates queries to the databases according to the user’s input in the GUI. For security and convenience the application has been developed with a role-based access control system. / Grafisk presentation av data som lagras i databaser uppnås vanligen med programvara på en stationär dator som kräver att data överförs från databaser till den lokala datorn och sedan bearbetas med programvaran. Denna metod kräver kunskaper inom databasrelaterade språk och verktyg som SQL, och är därmed krävande eller otillgänglig för användare utan en viss nivå av utbildning eller erfarenhet inom dessa språk och verktyg. Målet med denna studie är att skapa ett program som eliminerar behovet av avancerad kompetens inom dessa språk och verktyg för att göra det möjligt för en större grupp av användare att grafiskt presentera data som lagras i databaser. För att uppnå detta mål har en webbapplikation utvecklats som har ett simpelt grafiskt gränssnitt för anslutning till en fjärrdatabas och för att skapa diagram från data som lagras där. Applikationen genererar förfrågningar till databasen enligt användarens inmatning i det grafiska gränssnittet. Av säkerhetsmässiga och praktiska skäl har applikationen utvecklats med ett system för rollbaserad kontohantering.

Responstider är något som alltid har varit och fortfarande är en viktig del att tänka på vid utveckling av webbapplikationer. Speciellt CMS kan upplevas som väldigt långsamma ibland. En lösning på detta är MVC ramverk, i detta arbete javascript-ramverket backbone. Problemet handlar om att implementera backbone i ett CMS och ta reda på hur prestandan påverkas. För att testa detta skapades två versioner av en sida i wordpress, den ena med en implementation av backbone för att skapa och rendera kommentarer. Tester i olika webbläsare och med olika långa texter på kommentarerna visar på en prestandavinst som ligger omkring 90%.

The topic of this thesis is Liferay Portal, which is a technology based on Java programming language and portlet applications. The technology is not well known among developers despite of the fact that the usage of this technology is quite common in the commercial sphere. The main aim of the thesis is to create a suite of procedures and hints in order to facilitate portlet development for beginners, who are planning to use technologies Spring framework and AngularJS. The secondary objectives include defining the paradigm related to portlet development, analysing portal specifics and its benefits, describing the Liferay Portal from different viewpoints, to compare Liferay to competitive solutions and finally creation, de-velopment and documenting of the application composed of 2 portlets. The main functio-nality of these portlets is Personal Financial Management. Aims were achieved by obtaining information from the community of developers and from sources listed in the bibliography. Information obtained in the area of development was empirically verified using the developed application. There is a proposed procedure in the thesis in case of using the AngularJS technology in the area of portlet development and common issues related to this usage. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with portals as such, mentions the market share, Java Portlet Specifications (JSR-168 and JSR-286) and defines the portlet development paradigm. The practical part of the thesis documents basic procedures necessary for portlet development with the option of using of AngularJS fra-mework and finally it documents the developed application from perspectives of the design and usage. The added value of this thesis is the intelligible guide how to start with development of portlets for Liferay Portal. The most important benefit is the guide created to simplify the usage of the AngularJS framework on the client side of the portlet (in the browser), becau-se usage in the common manner is not possible. The outcome and also the benefit is also the created application, which can be used in order to manage user´s expenses and incomes and which has already been used by the author for this purpose.

The goal of this work is to propose a method of comparison and subsequently compare several of the most used Java web application frameworks in the design pattern context. The work describes fundamental design patterns and the compared frameworks, including the patterns implemented by them. Next there is offered a form of evaluation that splits into several criteria and subcriteria, and several sets of weighs representing different scenarios of decision. Frameworks are evaluated and the evaluation is substantiated. Besides the creation of the set of criteria and analysis of individual frameworks, there was an application developed using each of the frameworks, which allowed for a better evaluation by the author. This evaluation is therefore contributive also due to the actual test of the individual frameworks.

This thesis is about designing and creating 3D visualisation of interior localization using Sewio system. Visualisation is presented as web application with WebGL technology. WebGL deployment is simplified with Three.js library. For future scalability of the application, I deal with integration of Three.js into Model-View-Controller architecture. The last part of the thesis is about additional sensors and their use to make the localization more precise. There is a barometric senzor making vertical localization possible and inertial sensors useful for determining rotation of localized devices.

This thesis deals with metrics of IT management. The main goal of the thesis is to design a web application for assessing the quality of IT service management. The resulting application will determine the aforementioned quality based on the specified criteria and values. In the first part of the thesis, there are elaborated current methodologies, which are focused on quality assessment of IT administration and management. These methodologies also include metrics to assess this quality. In the third chapter, the quality assessment process is processed using the IT Quality Index. The fourth and fifth chapter describes the design and implementation of the web application itself. Validation of application results is processed in the fifth chapter. The created application is deployed on the server and used to assess IT quality. In the last chapter of this work is described practical use of work results and possible extensions of the web application.

Title: Kinesiological analysis of tachi-waza technique in judo Objectives: The aim of this work is to measure activity of selected back muscles and oblique abdominal muscle using surface EMG. At the same time, determine the load with comparison with the maximum free contraction for musculus erector spinae with selected judo techniques tai otoshi, o goshi and uchi mata. Then perform intra- individual comparisons between different techniques and comparisons between measured probands. Methods: To determine the muscle chain in a motion cycle in techniques tai otoshi, o goshi and uchi mata by surface EMG method and kinetic analysis. Six probands with several years of experience in judo were selected to measure. The measurements were four muscles on both sides: musculus trapezius, musculus erector spinae, musculus latissimus dorsi a musculus obliquus externus abdominis. Results: There was some similarity for intra-individual comparison. Three probands between the technique tai otoshi and o goshi, two between tai otoshi and uchi mata. Can be assumed, that techniques tai otoshi is basic technique with which the probants began in their youth. Diploma thesis deals with design and creation of framework for modern web applications. The goal of the thesis is to create a fast, modern and modular MVC framework designed to create modern SPA-like web applications that has all the advantages of SPA but minimize or completely eliminate its disadvantages. The theoretical part explores existing MV* frameworks mainly from Node.js, but also from PHP or ASP.NET. It also deals with the analysis of the requirements for modern web frameworks to incorporate the technologies that are really used or replace bad or obsolete ones. The work itself deals with the design and implementation of the new MVC framework for Node.js, including the client part and some development support tools. An integral part of the thesis is the creation of a sample application in the created framework. At the end of the thesis there is summary of the created solution and the results of the comparison.
