On the basis of acquired results, the appropriate work-life balance measures have been proposed into the strategy of selected company.

This thesis deals with the analysis of human resources management in a selected organization. The aim of this work is to analyze human resources management in the organization and evaluate its procedures with a focus on employee motivation and education. The theoretical part analyzes the approaches of human resources management, individual personnel activities and specifically the motivation and education of employees. The theoretical part is devoted to human resources management in general. This part is devoted to personnel activities such as job analysis, personnel planning, recruitment and selection of employees, evaluation of employees, placement or termination of employment, remuneration of other areas in this direction. I also deal with systematic and adult education. Here I focus on adult education, education in public administration and subsequently their education methods, which employees of public administration prefer. The thesis deals with methods of using social networking sites in personnel management. The social networking sites (Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter) and their usable instruments are presented. The attention is focused on the factors that influence their use, such as the labour market situation or the specifics of Generation Y. The possibilities of using social networking sites including benefits and limits of this use are presented in the field of personnel planning, recruitment, selection and development of employees, based on the study of foreign scientific literature. A part of the thesis is a qualitative survey of the use of online social networking sites in personnel management. Methods of using online social networks in the personnel departments of large organizations based in Prague were investigated by using interviews. The common and different features of the use of online social networks in the Czech Republic and abroad arise from the comparison of the results of investigation and findings mentioned in foreign articles.

The name of the topic of this diploma thesis is The enterprise management with focus on personnel management in selected medium-sized enterprise. The main tasks of the thesis is to analyse the current situation of the enterprise management with focus on personnel management and to propose solutions to current problems and opportunities for improvement of the current situation. For analysis of the enterprise management and personnel management were used two research methods: a semicontrolled interview and a reseach method using questionnaires. The semicontrolled interview was applied to find out how management sees the current state of enterprise management and personnel management. The research method using questionnaires was applied to find out what would employees change to their satisfaction and to find out how employees see the current state of the personnel management. Altogether the employees are satisfied with the work. In general, the enterprise management and the personnel management in the selected enterprise can be evaluated as good and effective but with minor deficiencies. The management could be more open to change and respond to significant changes more quickly. To eliminate deficiencies were suggested the improvements of possibilities of proposing amendments by employees, to improve communication from the bottom up, support career development, training and staff development. For improving the atmosphere in the workplace and strengthening relationships was suggested organizing social event and sports day. Other proposed improvements in personnel management are more frequent appreciation of a job well done, streamlining remuneration by employee performance and ensure greater diversity of work tasks.

The main task of the master thesis is the applicaton of the SWOT analysis in personnel planning for Children and Youth Centre and Leisure Centre in Pardubice region. Theoretical part is focused on definiton of HR planning notion including development phases. In the work, more details of HR planning in the market environment and in schools and educational organizations are discussed. Thoretical part of the work is also focused on SWOT analysis, development of the method, realization, utilization of the method, advantages and disadvantages of the method and the use of the method in the school environment. In the practical part of the thesis quantitative and qualitative research method is applied to achieve the goals of the research. Results of both methods are presented including their evaluation. The main aim of the thesis is to create a complete overview of particular activities of the human resources politics from the perspective of a modern corporate management. On the basis of theoretical principles developed by the HR management to assess the individual activities in the example of selected company and propose improvements in areas, in which seems deficiencies. The thesis is divided into four chapters. The first part of the thesis summarizes the theoretical principles of HR management, which constitute the basis for the evaluation of the HR management in the selected company, referred in the practical part. The second chapter is devoted to the characteristics of the company, which is next featured under the fictitious name of Chemická, a.s.. The third part of the thesis presents a comprehensive view of HR management practice in the watched company. The structure of this part of the most deliberately corresponds theoretical part. Fourth part of the thesis evaluate on the basis of theoretical knowledge the real HR management in the selected company. The HR management is showing no sign of any serious failure. The activities are carried out professionally and secured by sophisticated company directives. The HR management seeks to meet both, corporate and the personal needs and goals. Chemická, a.s. respects in managing their human resources the modern approaches and strengthens so the strongest of the four pillars of business, the human resources.

This paper deals with a comparison of the staff evaluation systems in the commercial sector and the education system. The theoretical part highlights the role and significance of personnel work for achieving goals and an organization's strategies, and defines the basic terms from the personnel and staff evaluation areas. It particularly focuses on the description of the functions, goals and methods of staff evaluation; potential problems arising from the evaluation have been covered as well. The small enterprise and the Czech primary school have been selected as representative subjects for the subsequent comparison. Further, the difference between the roles of the for-profit (business) sector and the public sector, between the organizations' goals in both sectors and the basic background of the workings of both organizations are explained. Regarding the enterprise, the focus is also on the context of personnel work and staff evaluation as a means of attaining the financial goals of the business. The section about schools deals with the methods of school management, the particularities of the teachers' profession and the resulting characteristics of personnel work at schools as well as the methods used for teachers' evaluation. Abstracts This thesis will address current problems in terms of school feeding in the Czech Republic. Its purpose is to summarize the situation from the point of view of the heads of school cafeterias and to determine the greatest difficulties for further functioning of the system. School feeding system is a part of educational and learning process and its effects relate to proper fulfilling of schools' educational programmes. At the same time, it is an environment for application of informal learning in terms of correct eating habits and social interactions during meals. By participating in the process, the pupils gain socio-psychological competences for entire life. Not only they gain practical knowledge in terms of nutrition, they learn as well how to interact during meals in an unforced way. Using the questionnaire method, some of the problems of school feeding system were identified. Some of the most severe problems might become a risk to this whole unique system. The outcome of the research are findings which point out the problems, such as old age of the personnel in the school feeding system, as well as the absence of new young people, who would continuously take on the experiences and replace the retiring workers.
