Neste sentido, este trabalho tem como objetivo avaliar as condi??es de durabilidade da Ponte do Rio do Carmo com 90,90 metros de extens?o. Esta foi constru?da em 1976 e est? localizada no Km 36 da rodovia brasileira BR-110, entre os munic?pios de Areia Branca/RN e Mossor?/RN, em regi?o de elevada agressividade ambiental. Para realiza??o deste estudo, foram identificadas as manifesta??es patol?gicas presentes, utilizando metodologias de inspe??es: Norma DNIT 010/2004 - PRO e a GDE/UnB. Com isto, a partir delas, p?de-se verificar que, as maiores incid?ncias dos danos sofridos foram na superestrutura, na mesoestrutura e em outros elementos estruturais, como as vigas de fachada. Ademais, de acordo com este levantamento, foi poss?vel quantificar a deteriora??o da estrutura; de forma que se obteve nota t?cnica igual a 3 segundo a norma DNIT, caracterizando-a como uma obra ?potencialmente problem?tica?, e grau de deteriora??o global da estrutura (Gd) igual 65,05, classificando-a em n?vel ?Alto?. Em comparativo entre ambas metodologias aplicadas, a mais conservadora foi a GDE/UnB, devido a riqueza de detalhes em sua an?lise. Quanto, a realiza??o dos ensaios n?o destrutivos, mostrou-se boa homogeneidade do concreto perante o ensaio de esclerometria. Para as medidas de ultrassom, foi identificada a qualidade do concreto como ?regular? e possibilitou a estimativa do m?dulo de elasticidade e resist?ncia em 17,60 GPa e 13,51 MPa, respectivamente. J? o ensaio de profundidade de carbonata??o, foram aferidas medidas em valores de 0,00 a 19,00 mm e, no o ensaio de presen?a de cloretos, verificaram-se maiores medidas, sendo a maior delas igual 22,80 mm. Por?m, ambas n?o atingiram a profundidade do a?o, 30 mm. No ensaio de potencial de corros?o, a maior parte da medi??o foi numa faixa de -150 a -250 mV, que indica probabilidades de 10 a 90% de corros?o. Todos esses resultados podem concluir que, a Ponte do Rio do Carmo, necessita de reparos nos elementos estudados nesta pesquisa e aliados outras inspe??es mais detalhadas, poder? se planejar a solu??o mais adequada quanto aos aspectos de seguran?a e economia. / The durability of reinforced concrete structures has motivated many researches, considering the high cost of repairs in many situations, such as bridges, as well as the damage caused by the need to ban regarding recovery services. Thus, this study aims to assess the conditions of durability of the bridge over the Carmo River with 90.90 meters long. This was built in 1976 and is located at km 36 of the BR-110 highway, between the municipalities of Areia Branca/RN and Mossor?/RN, in environmentally high aggression region. For this study, non-destructive tests were done on that proved to be good homogeneity of the concrete before the rebound hammer testing. For ultrasound measures the quality of the concrete was identified as "regular" and enabled the estimation of the dynamic modulus of elasticity and strength of 13.51 MPa and 17.60 GPa, respectively. The carbonation depth assay gave values in steps of 0.00 to 19.00 mm and the testing of the presence of chlorides, there were larger dimensions, most of them being equal to 22.80 mm. However, both did not reach the depth of the steel, 30 mm. The corrosion potential of the test, most of the measurement concentrated in a range of -150 to -250 mV which indicates probabilities of 10 to 90% corrosion. Pathological present manifestations were identified using inspection methods: a standard DNIT 010/2004 and GDE / UnB. With this, from them, it was observed that the highest incidence of injuries suffered were in the superstructure, the mesostructure and other auxiliary elements such as the facade beams. Furthermore, according to this lifting, it was possible to quantify the deterioration of the structure; so that was obtained technical score equal to 3 in accordance with standard DNIT 010/2004, characterizing it as a work "potentially problematic", and overall degree of deterioration of the structure (Gd) equal to 64.03 classifying the level "High". In comparison between both methodologies, the GDE/UnB resulted in greater accuracy, due to richness of detail in your analysis. All these results indicate that the bridge study, needs repairs in the elements studied in this research and allies for more specific inspections, will be able to plan the most appropriate solution in relation to safety aspects and economics.

As part of this cultural heritage, highlights the importance of historical buildings. For the principles of restoration are met its important to know the state of conservation and the existing materials. Given the above, this work aims to study the pathological manifestations of the mortar coating from the Grupo Escolar Augusto Severo. For this, was conducted historical survey of the building, on-site visits with visual observation, collecting samples of mortar coating and characterization through visual and laboratory analysis, XRF, XRD, TG/DTG, OM and SEM-EDS. From the observations, pathological manifestations were found as: cracks, detachment of the coating, dirt, use of inappropriate material basis of cement, efflorescence, mold and mildew and also incompatible material base of cement. It was found that the pathological manifestations were intensified due to lack of coverage in some spots and especially the abandonment of the building, that many years does not have restoration or any other type of preventive and corrective maintenance. The results of laboratory tests indicated that the mortars studied are based on lime, with calcitic nature, and siliceous aggregate, with the presence of clay in two samples. From the samples collected, two are composed of lime, sand and clay and two by lime and sand. In this regard, it is important to conduct periodic inspections and maintenance, as well as carrying out restoration with use of material compatible with the original / A busca pela preserva??o do patrim?nio cultural deve ser uma constante, para que n?o haja a perda da identidade hist?rica e cultural de um pa?s. Como parte deste patrim?nio cultural, destaca-se a import?ncia das edifica??es hist?ricas. Para que os princ?pios de restauro sejam atendidos ? de suma import?ncia conhecer o estado de conserva??o desses bens e os materiais existentes. Diante do exposto, este trabalho tem como objetivo estudar as manifesta??es patol?gicas presentes nos revestimentos argamassados, bem como caracterizar as argamassas, de maior valor patrimonial, do Grupo Escolar Augusto Severo. Para isso, foi realizado um levantamento hist?rico da edifica??o, visitas in loco com observa??o visual e registro fotogr?fico, coleta de amostras de argamassas de revestimento e caracteriza??o por meio de an?lise visual e laboratorial, FRX, DRX, TG/DTG e MEV-EDS. A partir das observa??es realizadas, foram identificadas manifesta??es patol?gicas como: fissuras, desprendimento do revestimento, sujidade, efloresc?ncia, mofo e bolor, al?m da utiliza??o de material inadequado ? base de cimento. Constatou-se que as manifesta??es patol?gicas foram intensificadas devido ? falta de cobertura em alguns pontos e, sobretudo pelo abandono da edifica??o, que h? muitos anos n?o passa por restaura??o ou qualquer outro tipo de manuten??o preventiva e corretiva. Os resultados das t?cnicas em laborat?rio indicaram que as argamassas estudadas s?o ? base de cal, de natureza calc?tica, e agregado silicoso, com presen?a de argila em duas amostras. Das amostras coletadas, duas s?o compostas por cal, areia e argila e duas por cal e areia.
