Modely zemětřesného ohniska / Earthquake source models

Adamová, Petra January 2013 (has links)
The earthquake source is routinely modeled by moment tensor description. In many cases we need more information about the source process and for that reason we occupy with higher degree moments. This approach allows us to esti- mate non-point characteristics (including some dynamic parameters): geometry of the source, duration of the source process, average slip on the fault, spatial and temporal centroid and rupture velocity vector within the point source ap- proach. This description includes 20 parameters - 6 parameters for standard moment tensor (MT) and 14 parameters for second degree moments (SDM). First, we studied synthetic tests. Large amount of significant earthquakes con- tains false non-DC component which can be caused by approximation finite source by point source. This hypothesis was proved on the case of unilateral rupture. Standard MT contains more than 20 % non-DC components which was reduced to 6 %. In the second part we applied this procedure to real data. We chose large earthquakes (Mw>6) with large non-DC component. We estimated second degree moments for them and compared them with previous studies. Moreover we restitute higher degree moments from data and proved that false non-DC component were caused by source finiteness. In the last part we applied this method to mining data and...

Zemětřesení Mw 9.0 Tohoku-Oki z 11.3.2011 v kontextu tektonické stavby oblasti Honshu a dlouhodobé zemětřesné činnosti / Structural control of the 2011 Mw 9.0 Tohoku-Oki earthquake and its relation to the overall seismicity of Honshu

Haislová, Radka January 2016 (has links)
The 2011 March 11 Tohoku-Oki earthquake with moment magnitude of 9.0 east of Honshu, Japan, has been the fourth strongest event in the era of instrumental seismology. This thesis is focussed on a detailed analysis of earthquake distribution in time and space in the broader area of Honshu during the time interval of fifty years (1964 - 2013), and on correlation of seismological data with tectonic structure and surface morphology, including the sea floor. The aim of the thesis is not to predict the earthquake retroactively but to put its occurrence into the context of the long-term development of seismicity, to identity differences in the seismic response to the process of plate tectonics prior, during and after the Tohoku-Oki earthquake and to delimitate the tectonic causes of areal limitation of the extent of the aftershock series. The space-time analysis of the development of earthquake occurrence utilized relocated hypocentral parameters primarily identified by the International Seismological Centre (so called EHB data), focal mechanisms of the Global Centroid Moment Tensor Solution programme, surface morphology and bathymetry data, and eruptive history database of active volcanoes. A series of epicentral maps and vertical sections of focal zones were construced for the analysis of seismic...

Bendíková, Monika January 2019 (has links)
The aim of the thesis is to determine the impact of monetary policy on the industry and also to determine the impact on the specific company characteristics. The panel data drawn from the Amadeus database is used for analysis. This is data of approximately nine thousand companies in the period from 2006 to 2015. The exogenous variables are defined as financial and non-financial characteristics of firms and the indicator of monetary policy is defined as three months interest rate, PRIBOR. The endogenous variables are defined as return on assets, return on equity and profit margin. The models will show whether there is a relationship between the central bank´s activity and the prosperity of the construction industry.

Vliv monetární politiky na investiční aktivitu firem v zemích V4

Růžičková, Elena January 2019 (has links)
Růžičková, E. The influence of monetary policy on firm investment activity in countries of V4. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2019. The aim of this thesis is to determine the influence of monetary policy on firm investment activity in the automotive industry in countries of V4, together with the further verification of the influence of other company-specific characteristics. The analysis uses the panel data of microeconomic character, which was drawn from the Amadeus database in the period from 2006 to 2015. As an independent variable representing the influence of monetary policy, a 12-month interest rate PRIBOR, BRIBOR, EURIBOR, BUBOR and WIBOR, representing each of states, was chosen. Other independent variables were selected as company-specific characteristics. Net fixed assets have been chosen as a dependent variable, which can be used to express investment in fixed assets. The models for selected countries will verify the influence of monetary policy on the development of investment activity in the selected industry.

Návrh konferenčního stolku

Krenarová, Eliška January 2017 (has links)
This diploma thesis focuses on the design of a coffee table, which is further designated for custom-made or mass production and sale. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part serves as a basis for the practical part as it documents the history of coffee tables and the research of coffee tables in the current market. The practical part presents the actual design process of the particular coffee table starting from the idea, first sketches, the selection of the materials and construction to the visualization of the product, the technical drawing and the budget for the production. This part also takes into account the observations from the theoretical part and tries to apply them in the design.

Postavení Evropské centrální banky podle evropského práva. Dohledové pravomoci Evropské centrální banky v systému Bankovní unie. / The European Central Bank's position in the European law. Supervisory competences of the European Central Bank within the system of Banking union.

Marečková, Markéta January 2021 (has links)
Supervisory competences of the European Central Bank within the system of Banking union Abstract The thesis theme "Supervisory competences of the European Central Bank" aims the goal of the thesis towards the exact explanation of the ECB's supervisory powers and to definition of the circumstances and the scope of the ECB's competences within the Framework of the Single supervisory mechanism . The thesis also sets a hypothesis to be confirmed that the performance of the supervisory powers has changed and strengthened the position of the ECB among the other EU institutions. The thesis is mapping all the elements of the setting of rules of the Single Supervisory mechanisms and the beginning of the Banking union in practice and follows the progress of the transformation of the supervisory powers up to nowadays view. The whole process is determined also by the CJEU who is co-creating the image of the functioning of the first pillar of the banking union. The thesis is split into several chapters that have a logical sequence. First of them is dedicated to the definition of the core legislature of the banking union and of monitoring the circumstances that has led to the foundation of the banking union. The second one is describing the inner structure of the banking union and also the legal basis of the banking...

Výpočtový model řetězového pohonu jako modul virtuálního motoru / Chain Drive Computional Model as Virtual Engine Module

Vlastník, Jan January 2010 (has links)
his work deals with the methods of creating computational models for the analysis of the chain drive of camshafts in combustion engines. Methods are compared of the simulation of the drive mechanism; a new method is also presented for the simulation of the tensioning and guide bar by means of a modal reduction of an elastic body in the Multibody system. The work describes individual parts of the chain gear and the mathematical formulation of differential equations of motion. Algorithms are also indicated describing the mutual interaction of bodies in contact. Computations are here described for the determination of individual parameters necessary for setting up a chain drive model. The tensile characteristics of the chain is determined by the FEM programme. The chain model is analyzed in several alternatives of arrangement. FEM calculations are described here of the rigidity of contacts between the chain and the chain wheels and between the chain and the guide bars. The computational model has been created in the MSC ADAMS programme. The computation is carried out for a stabilized speed of the crankshaft of 3,000, 4,500 and 6,000 rpm and for a continuous start from the idle state up to the speed of 6,000 rpm with a constant load of the crankshafts by the torsion moment. Computation is also carried out for loading the crankshafts with a torsion moment deduced from the cam shape. The courses of the quantity obtained are processed by means of FFT; Campbell diagrams have been constructed for their evaluation. The results have been compared with the modal analyses of the individual parts of the chain gear for the determination of their mutual interaction.

Analýza prístupu krajín strednej a východnej Európy k členstvu v bankovej únii / Analysis of the approaches of Central and Eastern European countries towards their membership in the Banking union

Samuelis, Tomáš January 2014 (has links)
The goal of this thesis is to analyze the approaches of countries in Central and Eastern European region towards their membership in the Banking Union. The selected topic has been investigated based on structural characteristics of the banking sectors of the impacted countries. The comparison of these characteristics resulted in identification of inconsistencies between the 2 standpoints (Opt-in and Opt-out). The thesis monitors the motivation of banks in choosing or changing the legal form of 'their' banks in host markets. The work identifies areas in which the host government can act to prevent banks from converting into branches, thus retaining the regulatory powers in local authorities. The thesis in the first 2 chapters maps the first and the second pillar of the Banking Union, Single Supervisory Mechanism and the Single Resolution Mechanism respectively. Furthermore, it summarizes the results of the European Central Bank in carrying out the Comprehensive Assessment exercise.
