Francisco Manuel de MeIo, tal como impressas em sua primeira edição, de 1664, levando em conta as cinco partes mais comuns da carta, fixadas na tradição da Ars dictaminis: salutatio, captatio benevolentiae (ou exórdio), narratio, petitio, conclusio, com a valedictio e as indicações de local e data da carta. Anexas, uma descrição histórica de alguns tratados epistolares e as traduções de tratados do Anônimo de Bolonha, de Erasmo e Rotterdam e de Justo Lípsio, bem como a reprodução das páginas iniciais da edição de 1664 / Abstract: This work has as objective the reading of the D. Francisco Manuel de Melo's Cartas familiares such as printed in its first edition of 1664, taking in account the five more common parts of the letter, fixed in the tradition of the Ars dictaminis: salutatio, captatio benevolentiae (or exordium), narratio, petitio, conclusio, with the valedictio and the indications of place and date of the letter.
