Analýza a srovnání časových řad pomocí statistických metod / Time Series Analysis and Comparison by Means of Statistical Methods

Kopecký, Radek January 2009 (has links)
The aim of the thesis mainly is to understand an issue of time series analysis. There are many methods in time series analysis, but purpose of this analysis persists the same, which is a construction of sufficient model of time series and his application in forecasting of time series. We have to make a basic identification of time series to establish right process in model constructing. The first and the second chapter is devoted to this basic identification. There are many methods, how we said before, for constructing of concrete model. In this thesis, exactly in the third chapter, we introduce one of the most flexible methodology of model constructing. That is The Box-Jenkins methodology, which was defined in 1976 by these men. In the last chapter we try to put to use insight in the issue of time series analysis for comparison and separation of the space of time series and this comparison use for the right interpretation of the parameters of time series model. The diploma project was supported by project from MSMT of the Czech Republic no. 1M06047 "Centre for Quality and Reliability of Production".

Integrace Explikační metody a Deskriptivní fenomenologicko-psychologické metody na teoretické a aplikační úrovni / Integration of Method of Explication and Descriptive Phenomenological Psychological Method on the Level of Theory and Application

Plachý, Jakub January 2020 (has links)
In this thesis, two qualitative methods based on phenomenology are introduced at the theoretical level - the Method of Explication (EM) and the Descriptive Phenomenological-Psychological Method (DFPM). EM assists the researcher in obtaining qualitative data, while DFPM is adapted to process it. The integration of these methods thus seems to be a way to overcome the incompleteness and limitations of solely EM or DFPM application. The next section, therefore, introduces the Attention-Description-Ideation-Application method (ADIA) based on the integration of EM and DFPM. The most important contribution of the new ADIA method is the detailed practical guidance that a researcher can follow to explore their own direct experience with the world - the researcher can become the subject of their own psychological research. The emerging method was used from the outset to examine the author's own experience of basic military training (BMT), leading to a constant review of the theoretical and methodological conclusions about 3PA and to improvements in its structure. The results of this research are presented at the end of this thesis which has a dual focus and potentially two benefits: on the one hand, it suggests a relatively comprehensive 3PA method designed for direct experience research, while secondly...

Friedrich August von Hayek a otázka evoluce liberárních pravidel / Friedrich August von Hayek a otázka evoluce liberárních pravidel

Doleček, Pavel January 2018 (has links)
The present dissertation deals with the topic of the relationship between political and moral philosophy and the epistemological and methodological arguments of Friedrich August von Hayek. The aim of the dissertation is to defend in general the assertion that Hayek's philosophy is the application of epistemological and methodological positions to moral and political philosophy and that this application is implemented through the continuous process of defining the basic theoretical positions towards philosophical tradition. This general statement is elaborated on in several perspectives. The first perspective puts the concept of knowledge in the forefront, both in the sense of a certain concept of rationality, i.e. the nature of reason and human thinking, and also in the sense of defining the nature and limits of scientific inquiry. The latter follows the development of Hayek's thinking, pointing out the aspects of his philosophy, which are the elaboration of the theories of his predecessors in thought within the Austrian economic school or classical sociology. This perspective also shows that, at a certain stage of his thinking, Hayek considerably moves away from these predecessors, particularly in the context of grasping individualism. The third perspective shows the deeper roots of some of...

Ohlasy dekonstrukce v recentní historiografii dějin umění / Reception of Deconstruction in Recent Art Historiography

Grygarová, Dominika January 2012 (has links)
The reception of deconstruction in recent art historiography The aim of the presented master thesis is to outline the reception of deconstruction in the contemporary art historiography and the introduction of its effects on the discipline of art history. The work deals with the term deconstruction in the sense of (1) the original philisophical and critical writing of Jacques Derrida, and (2) the method, which was implemented to literary studies at the end of the 70s and later on to other humanities, including the art history. First, theoretical part of the thesis introduces Derrida's thoughts, epistemology and the strategy of deconstruction. Second part reflects the epistemological changes a implementation of the deconstructive criticism into the art history. After imbedding the "deconstructive" current into the broader development of art history and reading of some methodological handbooks, we turn to concrete works of some art historians and their individual uses of the deconstructive implulses, namely Donald Preziosi, Norman Bryson, Michael Ann Holly, Keith Moxey, and to a lesser extend also W. J. T. Mitchell, Craig Owens, Rosalind Krauss, Stephen Melville, Donald Crimp, David Carrier and Victor Burgin. As opposed to the original derridian deconstruction, in its aplied form (art history,...

Komparativní přístupy Karla Krejčího v jeho pojetí české a polské literatury / Karel Krejčí's Comparative Approaches in his Understanding of Czech and Polish Literature

Matějková, Veronika January 2012 (has links)
The thesis documents and interprets the conflict between the literary discourses of the time on the one hand, and the specific approach of Karel Krejčí (1904-1979), comparatist, Slavist and Czech studies scholar, on the other hand. Based on the Krejčí's studies on literary history and comparative literature, as well as his participation in the methodological debates of his time, the thesis analyses the impact of this conflict on the author's literary theory method, and his work of a literary historian and comparatist in general. The analysis is based on the ambiguous reception of Krejčí's scientific work: while he is recognised as a great personality in the field of Slavic studies, he is considered an outsider in the general context of Czech literary science. The thesis describes how the author, with his methodological approach, was in opposition to the prevailing trend. As a Slavic studies scholar he criticised the 'influence science' and positivist methods employed in the field. In the period between the two world wars he inclined towards the sociology of literature, although this discipline did not become popular. While he was interested in phenomenology and formalism, he defended his 'historical-sociological' approach against structuralism, which was gaining ground. In the 1950s Krejčí wrote a...

Analýza vybraných akademických prací o zahalování v islámu / Analysis of Selected Academic Works on Veiling in Islam

Bouchalová, Alena January 2013 (has links)
In recent years in Europe, the veiling of the muslim women has become a political issue. Various laws were passed in order to regulate the appearance of the islamic veil in public. Such policies caused several protests and led to many debates over the meaning of the veil. In this thesis I focus on academic contributions to these debates. My aim is to find out what veiling stands for in the academic literature that deals with the situation in Europe (including Turkey). Both books and articles concerned with islamic veil are examined by means of the qualitative content analysis. Building on the principles of the feminist research, I also evaluate the methodologies of selected works. Another pursued aspect of the analysed texts is the use of the concept of gender.

Hodnocení finanční situace podniků automobilového průmyslu s využitím pokročilých metod regresní analýzy

Halmová, Barbora January 2017 (has links)
The main goal of this diploma thesis is to analyze the financial health of a number of Czech companies in the automotive sector. For the analysis, the logistic regression method will be applied to financial data available on the Amadeus database. Results of the regression will then be compared to those obtained using the Altman Z-score model. A second aim of the thesis is to analyze a sales time series for the Czech automotive industry using the Box-Jenkins method and to derive the impact of the recent financial crisis on the sales numbers.
