nÃo hà / O objetivo desta pesquisa à avaliar o Programa Nacional de Fortalecimento da Agricultura Familiar (PRONAF), especificamente na aplicaÃÃo da linha de crÃdito PRONAF-Mulher quanto a capacidade de ensejar trabalho e renda para as mulheres na reforma agrÃria, sendo desenvolvida em dois assentamentos no MunicÃpio de Monsenhor Tabosa. Essa pesquisa avaliativa ex-post tem carÃter exploratÃrio, com abordagem quantitativa e qualitativa, sendo de natureza empÃrica e inspirada em alguns princÃpios da triangulaÃÃo de mÃtodos. Para o levantamento dos dados secundÃrios, foi utilizada a pesquisa teÃrica (bibliogrÃfica e documental). O levantamento dos dados primÃrios aconteceu mediante aplicaÃÃo de questionÃrios as beneficiÃrias do Programa e entrevistas com os principais atores sociais envolvidos. O trabalho descreve resumidamente um histÃrico sobre a questÃo agrÃria brasileira, tendo como foco a agricultura familiar e as mulheres rurais. No que se refere à capacidade de ensejar trabalho e renda para as mulheres na reforma agrÃria, a investigaÃÃo indicou que o PRONAF-Mulher por si sà nÃo foi capaz de promover esse objetivo, todavia, se houver mudanÃas, ele pode ser um instrumento necessÃrio nessa conquista. Os resultados, portanto, mostram que existem potencialidades e limites no PRONAF-Mulher. / This research sought to evaluate the Programa Nacional de Fortalecimento da Agricultura Familiar, titled PRONAF-Mulher, as regards the capacity to generate jobs and income for women in agrarian reform in two settlements in the city of Monsenhor Tabosa. This ex-post evaluation research is exploratory, with quantitative and qualitative approach, being empirical and inspired in some principles of the triangulation of methods. In the survey for secondary data, it was used the theoretical research (bibliographic and documental). The survey for primary data was conducted through applying questionnaires to the beneficiaries of the program and also through interviews with the main individuals involved. The paper briefly describes the historic of the Brazilian agrarian question, focusing on the family farm and rural women. With regard to the ability of offering employment and income for women in agrarian reform, the research indicated that PRONAF-Mulher alone was not able to promote this goal, however, if there are changes, it may be an indispensable tool in this achievement. The results demonstrated that there are potentialities and limits of PRONAF-Mulher.
