Yamaoka, Denise Maria de Carvalho, 1982- January 2018 (has links)
(Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: Supported by the Brazilian National Social Assistance Policy (PNAS), the Norms of the Unified Social Assistance System (NOB/SUAS) and the perspective of the social justice in Music Education, I developed a multiple case studies research aiming to understand why the musical practices with teenagers are present in the Centers for the Children and Adolescents (CCA) of the Sao Paulo city in the micro and macro aspects of the current socio welfare policy. In that attempt, I concentrated on the key concepts of "social protection", "social ties", "recognition". In addition to addressing social justice in the field of music education, the theoretical foundations of research are also based on the concepts of Social Coexistence as a method of social work in Basic Social Protection, specifically in the Services of Coexistence and Strengthening of Links. The main questions of the study are: a) Why are the musical practices with adolescents present in the CCAs of the São Paulo city, centers understood as a policy instance of Brazilian Social Assistance?; b) What are the meanings of the musical practices with and for these adolescents when inserted in these contexts of Social Assistance?; c) Considering the perspective of social justice, do the musical practices promote the enjoyment of rights and ensure fair access to socio-cultural assets and social welfare in favor of developing the potential of the adolescents assisted in the CCAs? This study hopes to collaborate to deepen the... (Complete abstract click electronic access below) / Mestre

Kerkmusiek vir hedendaagse tieners

Van Tonder, Barend Jacobus 06 1900 (has links)
The narrow defining of church music today experiences a critical assault on account of: 1. Drastic turns within the development of Practical theology in the past few decades, which ask for a renewed investigation within the field of himnology; 2. a Shift in worldview away from modernism to post-modernism; 3. The birth of a total new generation of adolescents, known as the 'Lost Generation' or 'Generation X' . Church music in the narrow sense, as it is still understood to a great extent, does not take these tendencys serious enough. For this reason it's impact and influence in the life of today's teenagers declines. With this study a thorough acknowledgement of these shifts is attempted, which will result in a much broader defining of church music, and in turn will bring forth a scope for more variety and actuality, so that hopefully the growing gap between teenagers and church music can be bridged. / Practical Theology / M.Diac.
