This thesis is focused on the creating a Strategic Plan for Capacity Building of non-profit organization. The theoretical part explains the concepts associated with non-profit organizations and volunteer activities with the use of fundraising, as one method of raising funds, then complete the strategic planning process from analysis environment after the check itself. The practical section provides of the analyzed subject, which is the Volunteer Centre ADRA České Budějovice, on which is applied eight analysis of environment and resources, with followed by determining the vision and objectives, through the formulation, selection and the implementation of strategy to control and efficiency evaluation. The output of this part is the analysis of the results with proposals for individual measures.

This diploma thesis deals with the problems of communication strategy in a non-profit organisation. The firts part of the thesis discusses background knowledge concerning non-profit organisations, communication, marketing and Public relations and produces the collection of tools and processes for practical use. The second part of the thesis conducts an analysis of the current communication strategy in the inquired organisation. Data analysis also suggests new ways of communication strategy, suitable communication tools and possible ways of publicity and the system of its use. The inquired organisation is Junák -- český skaut, přístav Třináctka Opařany, z. s.. It is the basic organisation unit of Junák and it focuses on the work with children and youth in their free time.

The thesis deals with volunteering in social services. The aim of the work is to suggest a comprehensive set of managerial activities based on identified good practices, which leads to the improvement of work with volunteers in the program "Pět P" in Jindrichuv Hradec, in the area of recruiting the volunteers, managing their activities, monitoring, evaluation, motivation and public relations. The thesis follows activities of non-profit organizations by virtue of which concentrates on the work of volunteers dealing with handicapped children and juveniles. Using the method of benchmarking investigation seeks to streamline management activities of the organization. The outcome of this work is to create custom draft measure, which is focusing on implementation of new methods related to the increase of volunteers in the program "Pět P" in Jindrichuv Hradec.

This thesis deals with education in profitable organizations. Its aim is to focus on the foundation of provision profit organization in a specific area of the Czech Republic (in Děčín), but also on didactic issues (objectives, contents, methods, educational resources, equipment), which is associated with the inclusion of specific courses in this emerging institution. The analytic part represents the analysis of the market - on the one hand, from the perspective of the correct client profile and on the other hand, from the perspective of potential competition. Further analysis is SWOT analysis, which summarizes the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. All analyzes are based on a survey using questionnaires with parents of potential clients. The final section contains a summary and decide whether it is appropriate to establish educational institutions and development opportunities in the future.

The diploma thesis focuses on the Usti Region in terms of development projects which have been implemented. The irst part explains the basic definitions related to the development projects, includes the theoretical basis of the developement projects management, which is a defining element of it´s success and describes characteristic of non profit organizations. Usti Region has very specific economy and other characteristics, that´s why the detail analysis is part of the practical chapter and gives us general overview to the situation in the region. The interest in the development is progressive in time, that´s why the analysis of completed projects in Oparno Mill is included in the thesis. It aims to assess whether the projects were implemented correctly and their influences are positive for the territory. We work with hypotheses that were confirmed. We can conclude that human resources have an impact on the region development and also the n-goverment non profit organizations may contribute to the development of the territory with limited resources.

It deals with the theoretical background of the problem. The target was to chart these organizations, find out how they perceive their market position, chat threats they feel. Another target was to using the survey to find out the differences between the particular districts. The relationship of the younger to the older organizations is also the subject of the research, as well as the influence of the capital city of Prague on the organization.

The main goal of the diploma theses is supported by own research in the form of in-depth interviews and survey which were answered by PKU patients. This diploma thesis evaluates the potential of the tourist information centre USE-IT Prague and its possibilities in the tourist destination Prague. The aim is to determine, whether the services the information centre currently offers are attractive enough for the visitors and whether it is possible for the information centre to make a profit in order to cover its operating costs. The introductory chapters are devoted to definition of basic terms relating to tourism and its participants, tourist information centre, non-profit organization and tools used to evaluate potential of certain business - lean canvas and SWOT analyses. The second theoretical part pays attention to the USE-IT organization on the European level as well as Czech level. The Prague branch is described into more detail. The practical part evaluates the possibilities the information centre have. The evaluation is based on two surveys among visitors if the USE-IT information centre and other European USE-IT information centres. The evaluation contents lean canvas and SWOT analyses. The last chapter propose the particular services, which USE-IT information centre could offer its visitors in order to increase the attractiveness of the whole place.

The aim of this thesis is to analyze marketing activities of nonprofit organization Leontinka and make recommendations relating to the marketing mix which would increase awareness of this foundation and also increase voluntary help from the public. The thesis is divided into two parts. First part deals with theoretical definition of marketing and its specifics related to the nonprofit sector. In this section the process of marketing research and its application in non-profit organizations are also defined. The theoretical part is followed by a practical part in which Foundation Leontinka and the individual elements of the marketing mix are specified. With the use of marketing research information is obtained which together with the theoretical knowledge leads to recommendations relating to the marketing activities of this non-profit organization. The thesis ends with an overall summary.

The thesis includes analysis and definition of the target audience for Konto Bariéry organization and comparison with the original definition. The thesis furthermore presents analysis of the advertising investments within the non-profit segment and also focuses on the main advertisers who belong to this segment. Based on these analysis the recommended mediamix and concrete media are introduced to effectively address the defined target audience.
