Český literární realismus. / Czech Literary Realism.GABRIELOVÁ, Barbora January 2018 (has links)
The present diploma thesis aims to monitor the extent of Czech literary realism. It builds upon previous bachelor's thesis work, further developing presented findings by extending them using data on re-editions of realistic works which were followed up to the year 1948. It uses the database of the National Library of the Czech Republic, and the resulting data is clearly presented in tables. The thesis result is a graphical visualization depicting the magnitude of the production of Czech literary realism from the beginning of the second half of the 19th century until 1948. The primary sources to be analyzed are literary-historical monographs, specifically "Průvodce po dějinách české literatury" (Guide to the History of Czech Literature, 1984), "Česká literatura od počátku k dnešku" (Czech literature from beginning to today, 1998) and "Trvání v proměně" (Duration in Transition) by Aleš Haman (2010).

Anarchistická koncepce člověka u M.A. Bakunina / The Idea of human heing in Bakunin's anarchismLebeda, Robert January 2018 (has links)
Abstract The presented study deals with Bakunin's conception of man in his anarchy period. The aim is to give evidence that his theory has legitimate place in the history of social sciences and that every attempt to disregard or to eclipse his opinions is unacceptable. This thesis tries to put his anthropological interpretation into the context of social sciences of that time and to show that the real foundation of the whole theory lies in natural evolutionism, which was a part of evolutionist theories of that time in general. This evolutionism was based on the results of the period scientific studies, widely using analogies between the natural and human worlds. The study begins with the theory of foundation and evolution of the natural world; from inorganic to organic form as the real essence of the Universe, then it moves on to the theory of foundation and evolution of the human capacity of thinking including the theory of religion, philosophy and science viewed as the historical forms of human intellect. It continues with the theory of the foundation and the history of human labour viewed as economic history. The following part of this study deals with patriotism and shows the connection between Bakunin's natural evolutionism and his interpretation of this phenomena. The last chapter deals with...

Naturalizovaná metodologie v antropologickém výzkumu / Naturalized Methodology in Anthropological ResearchDrcmánková, Karolína January 2018 (has links)
Title: Naturalized Methodology in Anthropological Research Author: Karolína Drcmánková Department: Ethnology Supervisor: doc. František Vrhel. CSc. Abstract: This paper focuses on critique of the interpretative methodology of social sciences from the position of modern philosophy of science. Our goal is to process the theoretical approaches which are discussed in the scope of philosophy of science in an interdisciplinary way. This particularly includes the arguments against epistemic relativism and postmodern theoretical approaches in anthropology. Our work is based mostly on Quin's conception of naturalised epistemology which points out the importance of applying methods commonly used in natural science. Beside this our paper is also based on Darwin's social theory and Alex Rosenberg's concept of methodological holism. Our aim is to naturalize methodology of anthropological research which will be aligned with methodology of natural science and Quin's naturalism. The conception of naturalized anthropology is based on causal explanation of human behaviour, research of standards and regularities in humans and generalization. Naturalized methodology of anthropological research will enable us to clarify the nature of human behaviour by using the methods of natural science. Keywords: naturalism,...

Od padlého anděla k blonďaté bestii: postavy prostitutek v Balzakově Lesku a bídě kurtizán a Zolově Naně / From fallen angel to blonde beast: characters of prostitutes in Balzac's The Splendors and Miseries of Courtesans and Zola's NanaFousová, Tereza January 2014 (has links)
Subject to this degree work is the character of prostitutes in French society in the 19th century reflected in eight selected works of French authors of the time. In the first part of my thesis the history of prostitution from "religious prostitution" in ancient Greece to its "golden age" in France in the 19th century is described. The decay of moral principles in the post-Revolutionary period (as a result of religious and social taboos collapse) causes a great spread of prostitution and venereal diseases. Because of these reasons it was necessary to take the legalizing and organizing precautions - the French System. The second part of this work takes addresses the different (romantic and naturalistic) representations of the character of the prostitute in the literature of the 19th century. The representative of the romantic interpretation of the courtesan who is driven to sin due to poverty (the myth of the "fallen angel" redeemed by pure love) is Honoré de Balzac and his novel "The Splendors and Miseries of Courtesans". The opposite pole to the romantic interpretation of prostitutes is a naturalistic beast which chooses the oldest profession herself as a means of executing social revenge. In this second, analytical, part of this work the comparison of both of these kinds is made. Key words:...
