Ver mais verdadeiramente as imagens de Noite e neblina e Shoah é resgatar uma história dos vencidos, é dar uma fisionomia possível à memória do horror nazista. Em ambos os filmes as imagens possuem um traço de resistência à destruição, e por justamente resistir à aniquilação absoluta as imagens de Noite e neblina e Shoah ardem ao tocar o real e deste modo parecem queimar quem as vê – porque sua sobrevivência exige que as olhemos, que a interpretemos de outro modo, de forma mais verdadeira. Nossa hipótese é a de que na indivisível fortaleza à desaparição essas imagens (arquivos, sobreviventes, ardentes) permitem uma possibilidade de exercer a memória dos vencidos - seus rastros outrora imperceptíveis, esquecidos. Nosso objetivo consiste, portanto, em investigar os rastros que os corpos dessas imagens inscrevem na história do século XX – século em que a imagem do homem já não pôde mais ser dissociada de uma câmara de gás. / This paper establishes an analyses based on images that survived of the genocide perpetrated by Nazism and what left of the human life and thereby rescue such images its blazing, its clemency most intimate and painful. See more truly the images of Night and fog and Shoah is rescue a history of the vanquished, it is to give a possible physiognomy to the memory of Nazi horror. In both films the images have a trace of resistance to destruction, and rightly resist the absolute annihilation, the images of Night and Fog and Shoah flames to touch the real and thus seem to burn their viewers - because its survival requires that we look, we interpret it otherwise, in the more truly form. Our hypothesis is that the undivided fortress to the disappearance of these images (archives, survivors, blazing) allow a possibility of exercising the memory of the vanquished - their traces whilom forgotten. Our goal is therefore to investigate the remains of the bodies of these images inscribes in the history of the twentieth century - the century in which the image of man is henceforth inseparable from that of the gas chamber.
