Nasazení nekonvenční metody vodního paprsku do technologického procesu / The setting of unconventional method of water jet in technological processKunhart, Josef January 2009 (has links)
In terms of needs of practice, material slicing is one of the first operations at manufacture or fabrication. During the slicing process different conventional and non-conventional methods are used. Among the basic non-conventional methods is water jet cutting of two types: Abrasive Water Jet cutting (AWJ) and Water Jet Machining (WJM). This method is used in the technological process also for cutting devices of unique shapes and diverse materials

Racionalizace výroby součásti / Rationalization of a part productionBartl, Lukáš January 2017 (has links)
The assigned thesis is focused on the proposal of rationalization solutions to the component Bonnet, which is a standard representative of the most important sections of broader spectrum of customer´s components. The introduction part describes the component basis, according to which the standard representative was chosen, later on characterised from the point of view of seriality. The following large part of classfying the time comsumption in machinery is essential for the calculations as such, which are the essential part of this dissertation. The proposal of production rationalization is concerned with the exclusion of unnecessary losses and using existing ressources with the help of a higher level of machinery, technology, work organisation, production and management, which lead to a higher labour productivity. The technological production preparation ensures the documentation processing, the proposal of semi-finished product, machines, fastening, measuring and calculation of necessary technological specifications for ensuring the production. In the final part, there is to be found the technical and economical evaluation of rationalization proposals, which numerically evaluates the analysed outputs of this thesis.

Analýza defektů měděné slitiny po elektroerozivním drátovém řezání / Analysis of defects of copper alloy after wire electrical discharge machiningVontor, Jakub January 2020 (has links)
Electrical discharge wire machining, which represents non-conventional machining technology is up on very high technological level. However, due to this type of machining many of defects are set on the material and the quality of machined surface is changed according to set parameters of machine. Complex study was created with the aim of optimization these parameters according to final quality of surface and right wire speed. This study include experiment with 33 samples, every of these samples was machined with different parameters, results of these machining were analyzed.

Technologie výroby součásti / Technology of production partStraka, Jiří January 2012 (has links)
This diploma thesis is developed within my Master’s degree studies, branch mechanical engineering (M21 K), and specialization in M STM. The aim of this thesis is to solve the technology of mechanical production (machining, tooling) for the machine component called ‚shape lid‘. I execute the analysis of this technology from the perspective of the conventional machining process, and alternatively, some of the non conventional machining process, too. Conventional machining process is so far used for manufacturing of this sort of machine’s element. It‘s implying laborious work difficulties, even it’s economically disadvantageous. I suggest a new technology of manufacturing. At first, a semi-finished component could be sized by conventional machining process, and then it could be finished by the CNC (computer numerical control) milling machine. By the non-conventional machining process assume the usage of an electro-erosive machining, plasma machining, or water jet machining.Conventional technology suppose the usage of CNC milling machines. Thereinafter, feasibility aspects of this brand new technology are considered in technical and economical perspective.

Surface integrity on post processed alloy 718 after nonconventional machiningHolmberg, Jonas January 2018 (has links)
There is a strong industrial driving force to find alternative production technologies in order to make the production of aero engine components of superalloys even more efficient than it is today. Introducing new and nonconventional machining technologies allows taking a giant leap to increase the material removal rate and thereby drastically increase the productivity. However, the end result is to meet the requirements set for today's machined surfaces. The present work has been dedicated to improving the knowledge of how the non-conventional machining methods Abrasive Water Jet Machining, AWJM, Laser Beam Machining, LBM, and Electrical Discharge Machining, EDM, affect the surface integrity. The aim has been to understand how the surface integrity could be altered to an acceptable level. The results of this work have shown that both EDM and AWJM are two possible candidates but EDM is the better alternative; mainly due to the method's ability to machine complex geometries. It has further been shown that both methods require post processing in order to clean the surface and to improve the topography and for the case of EDM ageneration of compressive residual stresses are also needed.Three cold working post processes have been evaluated in order to attain this: shot peening, grit blasting and high pressure water jet cleaning, HPWJC. There sults showed that a combination of two post processes is required in order to reach the specified level of surface integrity in terms of cleaning and generating compressive residual stresses and low surface roughness. The method of high pressure water jet cleaning was the most effective method for removing the EDM wire residuals, and shot peening generated the highest compressive residual stresses as well as improved the surface topography. To summarise: the most promising production flow alternative using nonconventional machining would be EDM followed by post processing using HPWJC and shot peening.
