SOFT RECOVERY RECORDING SYSTEM FOR INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR BALLISTICS CHARACTERIZATION

Guevara, Mauricio, Flyash, Boris 10 1900 (has links)
ITC/USA 2007 Conference Proceedings / The Forty-Third Annual International Telemetering Conference and Technical Exhibition / October 22-25, 2007 / Riviera Hotel & Convention Center, Las Vegas, Nevada / The US ARMY, ARDEC; in cooperation with AMCOM AMRDEC, Missile Guidance and Engineering Directorates; the Office of Naval Research; Naval Surface Fire Support; and the Naval Surface Weapon Center, requires multiphase development of a common, low-cost, high G survivable, high accuracy, Micro Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) and Common, Deeply Integrated, Guidance and Navigation Unit (DI-GNU) for DoD gun launched guided munition and missile applications. The challenge for the Precision Munition Instrumentation Division (PMID) was to develop a Telemetry System to record the interior and exterior ballistics of a M831 TP-T projectile, which will be used as a carrier for soft recovery testing of IMUs and GNUs. This valuable data that would help The Government and contractors develop and validate multiple MEMS IMU design efforts, culminating with live fire verification performance test of pre-production in the Army’s 155-mm Soft Recovery Vehicle (SRVs) and missiles airframes.

A New Metropolitan Area Network Architecture on Next-Generation Optical Network

Tsai, Shang-Hua 19 October 2006 (has links)
Due to the advances in content distribution and data center technologies, the traffic inside metropolitan area network (MAN) becomes more and more distributed. The current MAN architecture that only plays the role of bridge becomes insufficient to handle such new traffic patterns. Hence, the demand for a new MAN architecture is inevitable. It is expected to be both efficient and cost-effective. In this thesis, we proposed Optical Buffer Ring (OBR) as the solution of next generation MAN. It combines both OBS's low end-to-end delay and RPR's low loss rate. And compared to more advanced network architectures based on optical packet switching, OBR is of lower cost and thus more feasible in the near future. To evaluate the performance of OBR, we conducted simulation study over large set of parameters. According to the results, the performance of OBR indeed coincides with our expectation. Furthermore, OBR scales better than both OBS and RPR in that the end-to-end delay of OBR decreases as network size increases while the loss rate increases little with network size. Index Terms¡ÐMAN, WDM, OBS, OBR, RPR, HORNET, LightRing, Diffserv, optical packet switching.

Editor pasportizace VUT / Pasport Editor of BUT

Bierza, Daniel Unknown Date (has links)
I will present the issue of passportization in my work. I will analyze the current status of the BUT buildings. I will describe possible solutions of passportization at the BUT in the future. I will focus on the analysis of the "obr" format through the method of reverse engineering. I will do the analysis of the acquired data. I will describe the way of saving of the passportization information. I will design a graphic browser and a passportization editor.

Automatická klasifikace obrazů / Automatic image classification

Ševčík, Zdeněk January 2020 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to explore clustering algorithms of machine unsupervised learning, which can be used for image database classification by similarity. For chosen clustering algorithms is written up a theoretical basis. For better classification of used database this thesis deals with different methods of image preprocessing. With these methods the features from image are extracted. Next the thesis solves of implementation of preprocessing methods and practical application of clustering algorithms. In practical part is programmed aplication in Python programming language, which classifies the database of images into classes by similarity. The thesis tests all of used methods and at the end of the thesis is processed searches of results.

Byl jednou jeden cizinec na cestě. / Once upon a time, there was a stranger on the road

Vondráčková, Kristýna January 2013 (has links)
v anglickém jazyce: This thesis mainly analyzes the five-part novel Gargantua and Pantagruel written by the French author Francois Rabelais. Emphasis is based particularly on an inclusion of Rabelais's work in historical and literary context of the period of transformation between medieval and Renaissance society. More specifically, it deals with the author's humanist opinion and his critique of contemporary society, which is the main line of the work itself. The aim of our thesis is especially an attempt to outline the various possible meanings of the terms « road or path » and « stranger » in Rabelais's work and explain the role of these thematic concepts in the author's concept of criticism of society.
