The main point of the master’s thesis – scrutinize the international status and position of Kaliningrad oblast. From the historical overview it can be determined that the sovereignty over the territory of the Kaliningrad oblast passed over the course of centuries from the Teutonic Order, to the Duchy of Prussia, to the Kingdom of Prussia, to the Kingdom of Germany, to the enclave of East Prussia and finally to the USSR. The relation of an exclave to its state is of state-legal nature. The legal nature of an enclave is to be viewed from the points of view of the surrounding (enclaving) state, the mainland, and the third states. Since the enclave is an inherent part of the mainland state, it is guided by the mainland’s national politics and legal system that’s why from the point of view of the enclave; this power is the most important one. It was one of the master’s thesis tasks to estimate the factors that caused the establishment of the Kaliningrad oblast on the nowadays map to assess the legal oblast’s status according the Potsdam Agreement and the way it was incorporated in the mother state. After scrutinizing the provisions of the Potsdam Agreement and Treaty of the Final Settlement with Respect to Germany one can state that the legal status of Kaliningrad oblast is to be determined. A goal of this graduation thesis is subscribtion of geoeconomic and geopolitical situation of Kaliningrad Oblast of the Russian Federation. Particularly its relations with the Russian Federation, the European Union, Lithuania and Poland. Beginning part of the thesis consider historical relationship of the Kaliningrad Oblast to Germany, explication of conceptions as exclave and enclave, and economic situation of the Kaliningrad Oblast, that is affected by Special Economic Zone regime. Second part of the thesis describes relationship between Kaliningrad Oblast and Moscow, from perspective of its constitutional framework, administration, security and defence. Attention is paid to observance of the Treaty of Conventional Armed Forces in Europe and relations to NATO. Final part is concentrating on relationship with the European Union and bilateral cooperation with members of the European Union.

Solar wind, a stream of supersonic plasma emanating from the solar corona, serves as an ideal laboratory for a study of high Reynolds number plasma flows. Turbulent processes that govern the dynamics of the so-called inertial range, i.e., the spatial scales smaller than energy injection scales but larger than the scales where the dissipation processes set in, have been studied for decades. At present, it is believed that the large-scale free energy in a form of kinetic and magnetic fluctuations is transferred via turbulent cascade into smaller scales, where kinetic effects become dominant and heating takes place. In order to understand dissipation processes, high-cadence measurements of solar wind parameters are necessary. The bright monitor of the solar wind (BMSW) instrument on board the Spektr-R spacecraft provides such data, and in tandem with high-cadence measurements of the magnetic field from the Wind spacecraft, we are able address the nature of the sub-ion scale fluctuations. The thesis focus on three interconnected topics, (a) what changes are induced by the passage of a collisionless IP shock in the framework of turbulence, (b) study of a decay of the turbulent energy downstream an IP shock, and (c) identifying the dominant mode of the sub-ion scale fluctuations.

The diploma thesis is deals with the economic aspects of the cultivation of Wild Cherry (Prunus avium L.) in the natural forest area 30 – Drahans´s upland and 35 – South Moravia´s ravines. Part of the thesis is an evaluation of the state of the Wild Cherry wood market in the Czech republic and creation of the proposal for foundation and upbringing of Wild Cherry stands. The main documents for the work were Regional works of forest development and Regional forest-typological elaborations for the natural forest areas, data from field measurements and surfy. Wild Cherry wood of Czech republic is insufficient range and the wood is of poor quality very often on the market. This can be considered as one of the reasons why the cherry wood is not interested in the processing of cherry wood, and it is usually custom-made during processing.

Title: Correlation properties of magnetosheath fluctuations Author: Olga Gutynska Department: Department of Surface and Plasma Science Supervisor: Prof. RNDr. Jana Šafránková, DrSc. e-mail address: Jana.Safrankova@mff.cuni.cz Abstract: This thesis deals with fluctuations of the magnetic field (MF) and plasma density in different magnetosheath locations. The statistical study of the correlation length of these quantities has shown that these lengths are surprisingly low for both the ion flux and MF (approx. 1 RE). However, the correlation length increases with an increasing correlation between the magnetosheath and interplanetary magnetic fields (IMF). Further, we have found that the correlation length of MF fluctuations depends on the solar wind speed, on a correlation between IMF and magnetosheath MF fluctua- tions, and on the amplitude of fluctuations. The statistical study of radial profiles of cross-correlations between MF and plasma density at the subsolar and flank regions based on Cluster and THEMIS magnetosheath observa- tions revealed better correlations toward the magnetopause. A study of the modification of the IMF direction in the magnetosheath has shown that a reliable prediction of the magnetosheath BZ sign requires |IMF BZ| > 2 nT and that this prediction is more precise during solar minimum....

of Mgr. Martin Valent doctoral thesis Hyoliths of the Barrandian Area The submitted Ph.D. thesis summarizes recent information on comparatively poorly known group of invertebrates - the hyoliths. The first part of the thesis is composed by six main chapters focussed in detail on various aspects of hyoliths; major characteristics and ecology of hyoliths, progress in systematic of hyoliths, principles of hyolith classification, stratigraphical and palaeogeographical distribution of hyoliths, hyoliths within the Bohemian Massif and morphology of hyoliths. Up-to-date information has been included in all chapters. New data were published in five author's papers on hyolith colour patterns, systematics of hyoliths, pattern of palaeogeographic distribution and palaeoecologic interactions between hyoliths and various elements of the Cambrian invertebrate fauna. Short appendage consists of the Czech-English-Chinese terminological dictionary, simplifying study of Chinese literature.

The goal of this paper is to evaluate the level of activities of companies that operate in the Czech market in the social area of CSR and to ascertain how the companies perceive CSR. The paper is written from an ethical point of view. On the basis of several theoretical concepts we present a design to evaluate CSR activities of the companies. This way we analyze the CSR activities of two companies in the Czech market. These two companies should represent the cream of the crop in CSR in the Czech market. Another perspective is being presented by conducting a survey among a wide group of companies in the Czech market. This survey is aimed at CSR activities of the companies and both their internal and external perception of CSR. Companies are analyzed and compared due to the size of their staff (small, medium and large), and the location of their headquarters (Czech and foreign). On the basis of these analyses we present a set of recommendations.

Tato diplomová práce je primárně zaměřena na problematiku projeků vývoje nového výrobku (NPD). Cílem je analyzovat problematiku vývoje nového výrobku, jakožto samostatné disciplíny projektového řízení. Dále představit a podrobněji popsat, u nás méně známý, nástroj pro podporu a koordinaci projektů PD-Trak? a analyzovat podporu jeho funkcí metodikou PMBOK. Nástroj je přímo určen pro projekty NPD. Nakonec se budu věnovat vývoji nového výrobku ve společnosti Opavia-Lu a.s. a srovnání této metodiky vývoje s metodikou PMBOK.

Ve své diplomové práci se zabývám problematikou vstupu do eurozóny z hlediska plnění nominálních a reálných konvergenčních kritérií. Východiskem je předpoklad, že země vstupující do eurozóny má zájem ze vstupu co nejvíce profitovat. V teoretické části nastiňuji problematiku teorie optimálních měnových zón poprvé definovanou v 60.letech 20 století. Uvádím také dva hlavní současné přístupy k této teorii. Ve druhé části popisuji zejména měnovou politiku německé centrální banky při sjednocení německých států ? to vše s přihlédnutím k teorii optimální měnové oblasti. V další části se zabývám plněním nominálních a reálných konvergenčních kritérií v aplikaci na Českou republiku jako kandidátské země eurozóny. Zdůrazňuji zde důležitost nejen nominální konvergence, ale hlavně konvergence reálné a upozorňuji na hlavní nedostatky a potenciální nebezpečí reálné konvergence České republiky.
