This study attempts to ascertain the status of, the enrollments in, and the offerings available in business education as well as the relationship between business education and other subject fields in grades ten, eleven, and twelve of the Oklahoma public high schools for the school year 1976-1977.

The purpose of this study was to determine the instructional methods of Oklahoma's elementary school music educators with respect to the inclusion of an authentic repertoire of American Indian music in the curriculum. The research was conducted through two methods. First, an analysis and review of adopted textbook series and pertinent supplemental resources on American Indian music was made. Second, a survey of K-6 grade elementary music specialists in Oklahoma during the 1997-1998 school year was conducted.

Broad-scale niche models are good for examining the potential for invasive species occurrences, but can fall short in providing managers with site-specific locations for monitoring. Using Oklahoma as an example, where invasive bighead carp (Hypophthalmichthys nobilis) are established in certain reservoirs, but predicted to be widely distributed based on broad-scale niche models, we cast bighead carp reproductive ecology in a site-specific geospatial framework to determine their potential establishment in additional reservoirs. Because bighead carp require large, long free-flowing rivers with suitable hydrology for reproduction but can persist in reservoirs, we considered reservoir tributaries with mean annual daily discharge ≥8.5 cubic meters per second (m3/s) and quantified the length of their unimpeded portions. In contrast to published broad-scale niche models that identified nearly the entire state as susceptible to invasion, our site-specific models showed that few reservoirs in Oklahoma (N = 9) were suitable for bighead carp establishment. Moreover, this method was rapid and identified sites that could be prioritized for increased study or scrutiny. Our results highlight the importance of considering the environmental characteristics of individual sites, which is often the level at which management efforts are implemented when assessing susceptibility to invasion.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the various aspects of low-power frequency modulation educational broadcasting and to formulate from the findings a guide for the establishment of stations on campuses as exemplified at Oklahoma Baptist University. It is hoped that this report will provide detailed information of interest and value to that university, its staff, its present and future scholars, and to other school and individuals interested in building an educational broadcast facility.

This investigation proposes to present a comparison of two compendiums of philosophy, and in the light of this comparison determine the prevailing types of educational philosophy and practice used in certain schools of southern Oklahoma.

The special problem which the writer chose was the study of the most prevalent postural defects of two hundred fourteen school children at Pershing Elementary School, Tulsa, Oklahoma, and to prepare and to administer a program of corrective exercises, and further to determine the progress made by the children after the application of the corrective program for the school years 1946-47 through 1947-48.

In this study it is proposed to survey ten selected school lunch programs in Bryan County, Oklahoma, in order to determine a sound procedure for the operation of a successful school lunch program. the increasing knowledge of nutrition as an element in the scholastic progress of children is a factor that the school administrator must consider.
