Bioniškos architektūros ypatumai: konstrukcijos, ornamentika, ryšys su aplinka / Peculiarity of bionic architecture: construction, ornamentation and connection with environment

Marcinonytė, Sigita 13 July 2009 (has links)
The final post-graduate work focuses on three different aspects of bionic architecture –i.e. construction, ornamentation and smooth connection with environment. These guidelines are based on definition of bionic architecture. It says that bionic building is the one projected whether under natural decorative motifs or natural structures. However, harmonic composition of the building and the surrounding landscape using different expressions also creates an organic look. Thus the whole work is based on the analysis of the basic features of the bionic buildings. Those distinctive and common features are analyzed and compared together to find the essential ones that reflect the bionic connection. The main cause is to seek and to prove through the research of similarities and differences, that all these edifices, built in different manner, has the same root – bionic architecture.

Františkánská bible z Knihovny Národního muzea v Praze (XII.B.13) v kontextu dobového malířství 13. století / The Franciscan Bible in the Library of the National Museum in Prague (XII.B.13) in the Bohemian book painting in the 13th century

Kurešová, Jana January 2018 (has links)
The Franciscan Bible from the National Museum Library in Prague (XII.B.13) Within the Context of 13th Century Painting The painted miniatures decorating the so-called Franciscan Bible (Prague, KNM XII.B.13), which dates in around the 1270s, illustrate the development of painting in Central Europe during the transition period between Late Romanesque and Gothic style. Illuminations in the Franciscan Bible are the work of four masters, the first of whom illustrated the Old Testament, and the latter three worked on the New Testament. The style of the illuminations places its authors firmly in the circle of artists drawing inspiration from the workshop of Giovanni da Gaibana. The Gaibanesque style is characterized by using traditional local motifs, with elongated tails expanding into the borders. Color tones gradually shift toward the cooler palette; form tends toward more schematic drawings and simplified shapes; imitation of Western style is characterized by gradual abandonment of heavy impasto modeling. The First Master most likely came from the Central Rhenish region, but his ornamental motifs are inspired by the Gaibanesque tradition; the other three masters, on the other hand, fully adopted the Gaibanesque style. Their works differ in the way they chose to interpret the common motifs, their use of...

Antifonář sedlecký a česká malba 13. století / Anthiphonary of Sedlec and Czech painting of the 13th century

Šubrtová, Jana January 2011 (has links)
Painting decorations of the Sedlec Antiphonary manuscript (Prague, NK ČR, XIII A 6) serve as significant evidence for art painting development in Central Europe during the cultural changes, when Late Romanesque style evolved into Gothic. The aim of the thesis is to submit profound art-historical analysis of the Sedlec Antiphonary manuscript, which is stored in National Library of the Czech Republic in Prague, call number XIII A 6. The main method of this work is the careful study of painting decorations in the manuscript, in terms of both analysing their layout in general and typology of the single ornament motifs. Among other methods are formal analysis, comparison based on typology and iconography analysis. Similarities of the manuscript and works of the same time of origin, such as Mater verborum manuscript (Prague, KNM, X A 11) or Wolfenbüttel sketch-book , are also taken into consideration. Due to this comparison could be proved that the author of the Sedlec Antiphonary was probably influenced by Byzantine, Venetian and German painting styles. The Sedlec Antiphonary represents an important and practically key work in the context of painting development in the 13th century. Keywords book painting, miniature, initial letter, Women at the Sepulcher, 13th century

Marečková, Alena January 2013 (has links)
The thesis "J. S. Bach and His Piano Pieces for Music Art Schools" is focused on interpretation of the piano music of Johann Sebastian Bach. For the right understanding of the composer's musical narratives, it is necessary to acquire the basic knowledge and principles of the music theory in the Baroque era and to become familiar with the environment in which this extraordinary composer had been professionally developing and composing. This musician is presented here as the founder of a modern fingering whose musical language brought a change into musical thinking and he became inspiration and a role model for composers of the next centuries. This thesis highlights the importance of appropriately selected musical materials in piano teaching and it prefers the performance to be as authentic as possible. The main purpose of this paper is to update the knowledge of methodology and to find a comprehensive guide to a correct understanding of musical language of this genius that would help the music teachers introduce to pupils the beauty and timelessness of Bach's musical work and that would motivate them to other musical discoveries and make them desire to be further educated in music.
