The thesis deals with the further education of pedagogical employees at selected hight school. The work is divided into theoretical and empirical part. At the beginning of the first chapter are explained the basic terms. The next section is focused on legal framework that deal with further education. At the end of the theoretical part are presented some of the studies, which have already been conducted and which have investigated the opportunities of teacher´s further education and trends in that field in Czech republic and all over the world. The empirical part concentrates on the research and describes its implementation and the results and conclusions, which are derived from the research.

Komparace českého a slovenského kariérního systému pedagogických pracovníků / Comparison of Czech and Slovak career system of pedagogical staffValent, Marián January 2018 (has links)
The aim of the work is to find out differences and consistent solutions in the field of professional development in the Czech and Slovak career system. Basic method used in the thesis is content analysis and comparative research of the Slovak law with the proposal of the Czech law and their relevant norms. In the first two chapters, which are theoretical part, basic terms are defined: teacher and their professional development, career system and its parts. Results of the comparative research of both laws and other relevant documents are presented in the third chapter. The subchapter 3.7 includes findings from the comparative research summed up in the answers on research questions. The results of the findings prove that career systems of both countries coincide in many areas, which might be caused by common historical background. The most important coincidences include - application of "multi-level career structure", seeing professional development as a way to reach competences, and performing attestation as a way of proving competences for the higher career level. Main differences were found in the focus groups of pedagogical staff, which can perform attestation, in the options to gain functional education and in the obligation of specialist teachers to undergo the training for specialists before...

The subject of the study is personnel procedures with the heads of organizations of general education. In the final qualifying work, the essence of competency, process and system approaches is considered; analyzes the activities of the Ministry of Education and Youth Policy of the Sverdlovsk Region in terms of personnel work with the heads of organizations of general education based on the application of a professional standard; factors affecting the implementation and application processes in personnel work and personnel procedures of the professional standard of the head of the organization of general education are considered. / Цель исследования, результаты которого представлены в диссертации, это совершенствование кадровой работы с руководителями организаций общего образования на основе внедрения и применения профессиональных стандартов, а также разработка проекта. This diploma thesis deals with self-reflection of a teacher as one of his key pedagogical competencies. The theoretical part is dedicated to defining a teacher as a reflective teacher. In this part, the significance of a self-reflection in a teacher's work and its influence on his consequential pedagogical activities is emphasised. This thesis describes various methods of self-reflection that teachers can use when self-reflecting. Selfreflection of teacher's work can be an incentive towards improving his further work and contribute to professional growth of a teacher and his lifelong learning. The practical part of this thesis is focused on frequency of self-reflection, its timing, use of self-reflective methods and consequent use of information found.

This thesis follows the bachelor thesis ,,Gestalt therapy and its use in education" and deals with self-development of teachers as a basic premise for preparedness for the profession. It describes very complicated concept self-development of teacher itself, then it discusses the issues of teaching quality and professionalism, where the thesis again emphasizes self-development as a way of transition from semiprofession to profession. It contemplates the necessity of self-development due to the rapid changes in today's society and thus increasing demands on the personality of the teacher. This thesis is based on the belief in the importance of self-development of teachers mainly in social and personal qualities, it asks whether these qualitites are sufficiently developed in the pregraduate teacher's education and if the offer of further education is sufficient for today's teachers. A short chapter is devoted to the burnout syndrom. Empirical probe aims to validate the conclusions and research of the theoretical part. The chosen method for the probe is questionnaire for primary school teachers. There is a list of centers that provide teacher training in the end of the thesis.

The thesis deals with undergraduate training of kindergarten teachers. The aim is to compare the issue of preparation for the profession of kindergarten teacher from different perspectives in historical and international comparisons and reflect and analyze the needs of the profession towards initial training kindergarten teachers on the basis of theoretical concepts and statements from practice. The reaserch aims to analyze the curriculum of initial training kindergarten teachers at selected faculties of education in the Czech Republic, analyze and reflect on meeting the needs of the profession in these faculties and learn how to evaluate their students' level of development of their professional competence at the beginning of undergraduate training and at the end. Research design is a multi-case study. Working with reaserch respondents has a longitudinal character. Methods were used quantitative and qualitative methodology - questionnaire, rating scales, content analysis of documents, interview and focus group.
