Autonomia docente e influências institucionais

Orientador: Prof. Dr. Salomão Barros Ximenes / Dissertação (mestrado) - Universidade Federal do ABC, Programa de Pós-Graduação em Políticas Públicas, São Bernardo do Campo, 2018. / A dissertação apresenta a pesquisa que teve o objetivo de analisar a visão do docente sobre o exercício da autonomia pedagógica, enquanto constitutiva de sua identidade profissional, buscando identificar e compreender os fatores institucionais que podem contribuir ou dificultar esse exercício. Com essa finalidade, foram realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas com professores do Ensino Médio, das redes estadual, privada e federal de ensino do Estado de São Paulo, cujo roteiro buscou elucidar como esses atores compreendem a identidade e autonomia docentes, bem como as características institucionais que as delimitam. A análise exploratória teve como referencial teórico os estudos de José Contreras, sobretudo sua tipologia docente, a delimitação das qualidades do trabalho educativo e a identificação da autonomia enquanto prerrogativa de um ensino de qualidade. Sob esse enfoque, o exame dos relatos indica que, na concepção dos professores, as condições objetivas de trabalho são determinantes para o desempenho da função docente. / The paper presents the objective of analyzing the teacher's view on the exercise of pedagogical autonomy, as a constitutive of his professional identity, seeking to identify and understand the institutional factors that may contribute to or hinder this exercise. To this end, semi-structured interviews were conducted with teachers of Basic Education, specifically High School, state, private and federal education networks of the State of São Paulo, whose script sought to elucidate how these actors understand the identity and autonomy of teachers, as well as the institutional characteristics that define them. The exploratory analysis had as theoretical reference the studies of José Contreras, mainly its teaching typology, the delimitation of the qualities of the educational work and the identification of the autonomy as prerrogative of a quality education. Under this approach, the examination of the reports indicates that, in the teachers' conception, the objective conditions of work are determinant for the performance of the teaching function.
