Úprava parkovacích míst v areálu VUT FSI, Technická 2, Brno / Modification parking places in VUT FSI area, Technická 2, Brno

Pazdera, Igor January 2009 (has links)
Diploma thesis is concerned with problems of parking places in VUT FSI area, Technická 2, Brno. In introduction there are explained methods of parking, sorting and orientation proportions of vehicles. Then there are explained basic requirements for parking areas according to valid norms and rules. In this task there is analyzed original and actual status of parking. Before separating suggestions is finished calculation of required number of parking places. Solution of whole problems around parking places is in three projects. Results are compared in conclusion.

Analysis of Charging Patterns of Electric Vehicles, Case Study in Uppsala, Sweden.

Yousef, Ahmed January 2022 (has links)
Electric vehicles (EVs) are used instead of fossil fuel-burning vehicles to reduce greenhouse gases. The increased rate of utilizing EVs has an impact on the electric power system. This is due to the fact that EVs are loads that increase the peak demand. From these perspectives, this thesis studies the load of the electric chargers in a parking house in Uppsala and studies the effect of adding battery storage systems. The cost of used electricity is also calculated at different battery storage system (BSS) capacities, and the electricity bill is evaluated at these different conditions.  The data used in this work was collected from a parking house allocated in Uppsala city in 2021. It is equipped with 30 charging stations and 60 charging points in total. In addition, the parking house is connected to a PV system with two racks of batteries with a capacity of 137kWh. The surplus power generated by the PV system is sold to the grid. The data from the PV production and EVs demand is analyzed using MATLAB. The electricity price used in this study is from a standard contract from Vattenfall, with different prices at day and night (0.144 SEK/kWh at night and 0.48 SEK/kWh during day time). The battery is charged during the night, at a lower price, and discharges during the day. The excess power from the PV is also stored in the battery as self-consumption is more profitable than selling it to the grid.  The results show that the installed BSS units reduce the overall cost of the load as compared to those without BSS units. By studying the system under different battery capacities, the electricity bill is reduced to a certain limit. However, the increase in storage capacity beyond 137 kWh has no effect on the overall electricity cost. This maximum limit of the BSS unit's capacity would be greatly affected by the size of the installed PV system and the number of EVs to be charged. Controlling the charging and discharging periods has a significant impact on reducing the system cost.

Facelift EDU / Facelift PDU

Tomoryová, Bianka January 2020 (has links)
The subject of the diploma thesis is an architectural study of the forecourt of the Dukovany Nuclear Power Station. The project is based on a pre-diploma project which aimed to develop an urban concept. At the moment the buildings in the area are in an unsuitable condition from a construction - technical and architectural perspective. The urban-architectural study was intended to create a new concept for the forecourt and simultaneously enable its efficient operation in case of the completion of a new nuclear unit. The concept of the solution is based on the removal of outdated buildings and their replacement with new buildings which will meet the current requirements of the Dukovany Nuclear Power Station. From the current layout the main roads, the gatehouse, the information center and the greenery will be preserved. After removing the selected buildings, the renovation area will be divided into the main axes on which the main road network will be designed. The unsuitable connection to public road infrastructure will be solved by minimizing the entrances to the area to two entrances and by moving the suburban bus station from the main road. After connecting the whole area by roads, the area will be divided into functional areas. In front of the gatehouse there will be a square surrounded by public services, an administrative building and by the preserved information center building. From this space, the main representative space of the entire complex will be created. Warehouses and workshops will be located behind the square. Transport areas will be located at the rear of the complex. Thanks to this location, there will be a good connection with the current factory and also with the planned completion of the new nuclear unit on the west of the area. There will also be educational and sport facilities in the complex. The kindergarten will be oriented towards the preserved greenery.

Statické řešení parkovacího domu / Static solution of parking house

Tvrzník, Jakub Unknown Date (has links)
The diploma thesis is focused on the design of the supporting structure of a multi-storey parking house. Part of the work is also a search of three parking houses in our country and in Slovakia. The content of the work is a preliminary design of 3 variants of a typical ceiling structure. Subsequently, one variant is selected and processed in detail. A flexurally supported slab-wall model was created in Scia Engineer for the analysis of the structure. Selected structural elements were modeled separately. Additional assessment is performed in GEO, FINE, IDEA Statica, JORDAHL and MS Excel software.
