The Restorative Justice gained in amplitude in Brazil, because the actions of Secretaria de Reforma do Judiciário,which established pilot projects in some cities in Brazil. One of the main innovations of this model of justice by comparison with Traditional Justice, is participation of all those involved in the conflict, including the teenager. The ways of teenagers participation on Restorative Justice circles were analyzed of Social Studies of Childhood perspective in order to explain the power relations that traverse the circles, especially those linked to an adultcentered stance. We made interviews with teenagers and observed some restorative circles promoted by the Pilot Project on Restorative Justice in São José de Ribamar- MA / O sistema de justiça juvenil ainda não conseguiu garantir aos adolescentes o direito previsto no art. 12 da Convenção Internacional dos Direitos da Criança, que trata sobre a participação deles em processos judiciais que lhes digam respeito. Entretanto a inserção de práticas restaurativas no sistema de justiça tem contribuído para a sua problematização. A Justiça Restaurativa ganhou amplitude no Brasil por meio da Secretaria da Reforma do Judiciário que financiou projetos piloto em algumas cidades do Brasil. Uma das principais inovações desse modelo de justiça em relação á Justiça Tradicional é participação de todos os envolvidos no conflito, inclusive o adolescente. Os modos de participação dos adolescentes nos círculos restaurativos foram analisado à luz dos Estudos Sociais da Infância a fim de explicitar as relações de poder que atravessam os círculos, em especial àquelas pautadas em uma postura adultocêntrica. As entrevistas realizadas e os círculos observados fazem parte do Projeto Piloto em Justiça Restaurativa de São José de Ribamar-MA
