The Eco-Park includes various ecological environments and has potential to bring many measurable, although subtle, economical benefits. Over the years, many environmental protection NGOs have examined the Eco-Park design and have commented that the developed land and the surrounding environment would be indistinguishable. The National Management of Public Affairs Organization, in cooperation with the Taiwanese NGO Environmental Protection Agency will need to seek approval from local landowners in order to move forward with current plans. Therefore, the government will need to provide incentives and/or financial compensation for the use of the land. Taiwan does not, as of yet, have set standards for its Eco-Parks, and each park was built with different goals in mind. This being said however, the government still plays an important role in the managing of the parks after construction and considering the needs of the people in the surrounding community. For instance, if the Fu-Bow Eco-Park was to be restart, then the environmental and local residents¡¦ needs will first need to be considered.
