Šiame darbe siekiama sužinoti, kaip savo patirtį globos namuose vertina buvę ugdytiniai. Darbe teoriniu lygmeniu nagrinėjamas asmenybės socialinių ir psichologinių savybių formavimasis, asmenybės savęs vertinimo ypatumai, vaikų iš nedarnių šeimų psichologiniai ypatumai, asmenybės struktūros pokyčių tendencijos globos institucijos aplinkoje bei globojamų vaikų rengimo savarankiškam gyvenimui Lietuvoje ypatumai. Empirinio tyrimo objektas – gyvenimo globos namuose patirtis ir jos vertinimas. Tyrimo tikslas – ištirti buvusių ugdytinių gyvenimo vaikų globos namuose patirtį ir jos subjektyvų vertinimą. Tyrimo metu buvo siekiama ištirti: jaunuolių gyvenimo globos namuose patirtį, gyvenimo patirties įtaką buvusių globos namų ugdytinių savęs vertinimui bei buvusių globos namų ugdytinių subjektyvų pasiruošimo savarankiškam gyvenimui vertinimą. Tyrimo metu buvo apklausti keturi buvę vaikų globos namų auklėtiniai, kurie jau yra pilnamečiai ir gyvena savarankiškai (3 - 5 metus). Du iš tiriamųjų gyveno valstybiniuose globos namuose (didmiesčio ir provincijos), kiti du - nevyriausybiniuose globos namuose (šeimyninio tipo bei parapijiniai). Atsitiktinumo būdu tyrime dalyvavo vienas vyriškos ir trys moteriškos lyties atstovės. Giluminė naratyvinių biografinių interviu analizė leido konceptualiu lygmeniu išsiaiškinti subjektyvaus jaunuolių gyvenimo patirties suvokimo susiformavimo priežastis, kuriomis remiantis buvo nustatytas jo susiformavimo mechanizmas. [toliau žr. visą tekstą] / The focus of this research is to find out how the former children’s homes’ educatees define their experience of living in the fostering institutions. The paper examines the theoretical level of formation of the personality’s social and psychological characteristics, self-assessment peculiarities, psychological peculiarities in children from dysfunctional families, tendencies of the personality structure changes in the care institution environment, and peculiarities of educatees’ preparation for the independent life in Lithuania. The subject of the empirical research is the experience of life at the children’s homes and its appraisal. The focus of the research is to examine the former children’s homes educatees’ experience of living in the fostering institutions and their subjective evaluation of such experience. The research objectives were as follows: to examine the experience of young people’s life at children’s homes, the influence of experience upon the self-evaluation of the former children’s homes educatees, and subjective evaluation of the children’s homes educatees’ preparation for the independent living.
