The thesis deals with the topic of psychological aspects which are essential for the work of social pedagogue in the area of social work. It deals with individual psychological aspects selected by comparison of the specific literature and researches in that area. Chosen terms consist of social interaction, social communication, social intelligence and empathy. Social communication emphasizes social pedagogical communication which is used by the social pedagogue during the communication process with clients. Further, it specifies the problematics of social interaction as a basis of the creation of interpersonal relationships. The thesis defines basic paradigms in the area of social intelligence and social competence, especially it deals with the term of social skill. Specifically, it shows the skill of active listening, which is classified as a basis of dialogue with clients. At the end the thesis emphasizes the significance of empathy among helping professions, it defines models and theories of empathy. The aim of the thesis concerns the definition of individual psychological aspects in the work of social pedagogue in the area of social work and classify them to the context of helping profession.

The dissertation is focused to the field of communication and it is divided up to three sections, which concur in order. The first section is aimed to delimitation, definiton, functions and types of social communication. The second section is applied to the pedagogic communication in a primary school background, and there are stated, as well as in the first section, definitions, functions and verbal and nonverbal communication. There are new chapters added to this section, which subsequently apply to the goal, subject, rules of pedagogic communication and the time aspect, that together with organizing forms and methods of teaching has the influence on the pedagogic communication. The last section is concentrated on the pedagogic communication in a after school daycare background, the content structure copies the previous section. For further specification, there is a chapter added in this section, that is focused to after school daycare as a place for education and cultivation in the time of not school teaching. The goal of this dissertation was the comparison of differences in pedagogic communication in a primary school and in a after-school daycare.

The Master thesis with the name "Personality of a Teacher in Students' Perception" is divided into two parts - a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part is divided into four chapters. The first chapter focuses on the personality of a teacher. It describes some typologies of a teacher's personality, individual stages of the teaching profession and selected factors influencing the teacher's personality. The second chapter describes the role of a teacher, the content of his work, and the occupational load which is connected to the teaching profession. Further, it addresses teachers dealing with the burnout syndrome. The third chapter briefly presents the topic of pedagogical communication and the Pygmalion effect. The fourth chapter examines the student - teacher relationship. It aims to describe the characteristics and the significance of this relationship, by which factors it is influenced and what a pedagogue can do for a good relationship. In the second, empirical part, this thesis presents the findings' summary of a quantitative research, which was carried out among students in the form of questionnaires. Possibilities and Limits of the ICT Use in Teaching Key words: ICT (Information and Communication Technologies - netbooks, interactive boards, PC etc.), pedagogical communication, teaching techniques, organizational forms of work, participant observation This diploma thesis deals with the theme of ICT use in teaching - their possibilities and limits. The theoretical part consists of use of selected types of ICT, methodology and didactic aspects when using ICT, and projects concerning the introduction of ICT into teaching. The empirical part consists of research focused on the pupils in the second stage of basic education. The methods of this research have been done in the form of participant observation supplemented with semi-structured interviews with teachers and video recordings, which should specify the observation. The aim of the empirical part is to concentrate on teacher's pedagogical communication with learners (with respect to verbal and nonverbal communication), teaching techniques and organizational forms of work, the ways of use of ICT in teaching realized with pupils in the second stage of basic education at a Prague basic school, and then interpret the results obtained.

This diploma paper deals with analysis of requirements of a teacher{\crq}s professional role and conditions for preparation and development of teacher{\crq}s competences at Faculty of Education of the University of South Bohemia. The theoretical part of the diploma paper deals with theoretical questions relating to this problem. The practical part is oriented on finding problems in teacher{\crq}s education through the use of confrontation of the point of view of those students who are finishing their pre-gradual preparation as well as of new teachers in their professional practice. The author first defined research methods and hypotheses and then she analyzed the list of questions which was later given to the supposing individuals.
