La presente investigación tiene como fin presentar el problema de la cobertura del Sistema Privado de Pensiones, por medio del análisis de los factores que determinan la afiliación de un trabajador a dicho sistema. Para esta finalidad, se realizarán dos grupos de estimaciones. Por un lado, se estimarán los determinantes por el lado de la demanda o las características propias del individuo, y, por otro lado, se estimarán los factores por el lado de la oferta de trabajo o características laborales de cada persona. Se utilizará información segundaria, por medio de los microdatos de la Encuesta Nacional de Hogares, para el año 2018, para determinar las características de las variables a estudiar. Asimismo, se utilizarán los datos de la Asociación Internacional de Organismos de Supervisión de Fondos de Pensiones hasta el año 2019 para relacionar el problema del Perú con los demás países de la región. Además, se concentrará la información propuesta por la Superintendencia de Banca y Seguros del Perú (SBS) para estimar el nivel de cobertura de los miembros del Sistema Privado de Pensiones. / The purpose of this investigation is to present the problem of coverage of the Private Pension System, through the analysis of the factors that determine the affiliation of a worker to said system. For this purpose, two groups of estimates will be made. On the one hand, the determinants will be estimated on the demand side or the characteristics of the individual, and, on the other hand, the factors will be estimated on the side of the job offer or work characteristics of each person. Secondary information will be used, through the microdata of the Encuesta Nacional de Hogares for the year 2018 will be used to determine the characteristics of the variables to be studied. Likewise, data from the Asociación Internacional de Organismos de Supervisión de Fondos de Pensiones until the year 2019 will be used to relate the problem of Peru to other countries in the region. In addition, the information proposed by the Superintendencia de Banca y Seguros (SBS) will be concentrated to estimate the level of coverage of the members of the Private Pension System.
