Its goal is to investigate the constitution of the rhetorical proof: ethos, pathos and logos in the religious discourse, which accentuates the passionate movement within the religious discourse of Bola de Neve Church . We present a panoramic view of the history of Christianity, Roman Catholic and Protestant. To achieve the established objective, we used the theories of Classic Rhetoric, The New Rhetoric and the Critical Discourses Analysis / Esta dissertação, presente na área de Língua Portuguesa, insere-se na linha de pesquisa: Texto e discurso nas modalidades oral e escrita. Objetiva desvendar as estratégias retóricas que constituem as três provas retóricas: ethos, pathos e logos, que acentuam o movimento passional no interior do discurso religioso da Igreja Bola de Neve. Como teoria de análise, este trabalho faz uso da Retórica desde a Retórica Clássica, de Aristóteles, a Nova Retórica, de Perelman & Tyteca, e as novas tendências da Retórica. Como teoria de apoio, faz uso da Análise Crítica do Discurso desenvolvida por Norman Fairclough. Apresentamos um percurso histórico no Cristianismo: Católico Romano e o Protestante
