No. of bitstreams: 1 Pessoa_JadirdeMorais_D.pdf: 16220075 bytes, checksum: 10ac3f665f96a68455d901a5e3341697 (MD5) Previous issue date: 1997 / Resumo: Depois de quase dois séculos de exclusão do trabalhador rural em Goiás, agravada pela "modernização conservadora" dos anos 50 e 60, a década de 70 foi marcada pelas primeiras resistências individuais ou coletivas ao processo de grilagem, pela retomada da sindicalização e pela formação da oposição ao sindicalismo permitido pelo Estado. Mas, isso ainda não atendia plenamente às exigências da reprodução camponesa da época. Na década de 80 emergiram então os primeiros conflitos caracterizados como luta organizada pela posse e manutenção na terra. Em meados da década, as primeiras ocupações de fazendas já tinham desfecho favorável com o surgimento dos assentamentos rurais no Estado. O presente estudo quer, num primeiro momento, reconstituir e compreender a trajetória histórica dos sujeitos ai envolvidos, bem como as condições sociais que possibilitaram a sua emergência. É, pois, numa perspectiva histórica, social e política, um estudo das ocupações de terra enquanto movimento social rural. Mas, os primeiros assentamentos constituídos, comemorando seus primeiros dez anos de organização e trabalho, já possibilitam ir além dessa análise. Por isso, num segundo momento, numa perspectiva mais antropológica, procura-se compreender também o cotidiano de produção de objetos, e de símbolos e significados. Nessas duas esferas de observação, numa inevitável tensão entre rupturas e continuidades, podem ser encontrados elementos significativos para se afirmar a existência de um "novo campesinato" em Goiás. Ainda é muito prematuro pretender afirmar a sua estabilização definitiva. Mas, pelo menos, o modo como ele está se constituindo e as contradições que esse processo engendra, podem ser aqui encontrados. / Abstract: After the fast two centuries of rural worker exclusion in Goiás, worsened by the conservative modernization from the 50ths and 60ths, the 70ths was marked by the first individual or coletive resistances to the "grilagem" process, by the sindicalization retake and by the opposition formation to the State permitted sindicalism. But, this hadn't even granted fully to the rural reprodution exigences of this period. ln 80ths, carne up then the first conflicts caracterized as organized fight for the land possession and maintenance. Around the decade the first farm occupation had ever a suitable end with the appearance of the rural settlements in the State. The present study wish, in a first moment, reconstitute and understand the historical path of the subjects included there, as well as the social conditions that made possible its appearance. That's, therefore, in a historical, social and political outlook, a study of the land occupation, while rural social movement. But, the first settlements constituted, while comemorating your first work and organization ten years, even made possible to go beyond this analysis.Therefore, in a second moment, inside a more antropological outlook, one's look for understand also the symbols and meanings and objects production day-by-day. lnside these two observation spheres, in a inevitable tension between ruptures and continuities, can be found significant elements to assert the existence of the " new campesinato" in Goiás. It' s still very premature to intend assert the definitive settlement.
