The present study aimed to analyze the relationship between the dimensions of

The spanish version of the Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale (MPS) (Rodríguez et al.,
2009) and the peruvian adaptation of the Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire
(CERQ) (Domínguez & Medrano, 2016) were used for the measurement. The dimensions
of self-oriented perfectionism and socially prescribed perfectionism were significantly and
positively related to the strategies of self-blaming, rumination, catastrophizing and blaming
others, and negatively related to positive reappraisal and positive refocusing. In addition,
only the socially prescribed perfectionism was negatively related to the refocus on planning
strategy. Regarding the other-oriented perfectionism dimension, it was found a significant
and positive relationship with the refocus on planning tendency. Finally, there were
significant differences according to some sociodemographic and academic variables. The
possible explanations of these findings are discussed, as well as the limitations of the
present study and the future lines of research to follow.

perfeccionismo. / The purpose of the present study was to analyze the relationship between the dimensions of
Perfectionism and Well-being in university students in the context of the Public health
emergency. To this end, 126 university students from the city of Metropolitan Lima between
the ages of 18 and 28 years (M=21.11; SD=.36) were evaluated. The instruments used were
the Multidimensional Perfectionism scale (Rodriguez, et al., 2009) and the Flourishing and
Positive and Negative Affect scales for the evaluation of Well-being (Cassaretto & Martinez,
2017). It was found that most of the correlations between the perfectionism and well-being
dimensions were significant and have a small to medium magnitude. Likewise, comparisons
were made between the sociodemographic variables (sex and age), academic variables
(university of belonging and withdrawal from the university) and the psychological variables
of the present investigation, but no statistically significant differences were found between
them. Finally, the purpose of the study was fulfilled because as it demonstrated the presence
of significant correlations between the dimensions of well-being and perfectionism.
