No. of bitstreams: 1 RaisaOliveira.pdf: 3302741 bytes, checksum: 63c563bb7f5c98cbca681b92744bec9f (MD5) Previous issue date: 2013-03-27 / CAPES / This work reports on room temperature Raman scattering and infrared transmittance and reflectance techniques in Sr2NiWO6 (SNWO), Sr2NiMoO6 (SNMO), Ba2NiWO6 (BNWO) e Ba2NiMO6 (BNMO) double perovskites oxides. The strontium containing compounds crystallize in a tetragonal system with space group I4/m and barium containing compounds crystallize in a cubic ystem with space group Fm3m. These double perovskite structures can be represented as a three-dimensional network of alternating NiO6 and B”O6 octahedra (B” = Mo, W), with Ba and Sr atoms occupying the interstitial spaces. The Raman and infrared spectra of these crystalline perovskite oxides are interpreted by means of factor group analysis in terms of space group I4/m and Fm m. Assignments of the B”- O vibrational stretching and bending modes have been made. / Este trabalho apresenta o estudo de fônons, a temperatura ambiente, por meio das técnicas de espalhamento Raman, transmitância e reflectância de infravermelho, das perovsquitas duplas Sr2NiWO6 (SNWO), Sr2NiMoO6 (SNMO), Ba2NiWO6 (BNWO) e Ba2NiMO6 (BNMO). Os compostos que contém estrôncio cristalizam em um sistema tetragonal com grupo espacial I4/m e os que contém bário cristalizam em um sistema cúbico com grupo espacial Fm3m. Essas estruturas perovsquitas duplas podem ser representadas como uma rede tridimensional de octaedros NiO6 e B”O6 (B” = Mo, W) alternados, com os átomos de Ba e Sr ocupando os espaços intersticiais. Os espectros Raman e infravermelho são interpretados por meio da análise do grupo fator em termos dos grupos espaciais I4/m e Fm m. Também foram reportados os modos vibracionais de estiramento e dobramento do B”- O.
