Foi constatado que os implantes com corpo cônico e roscas duplas progressivas apresentam melhor distribuição das tensões / Abstract: Bone loss around dental implants is generally associated with concentration of masticatory loads on the implant-bone interface and the spread of such strains in the alveolar bone crest, resulting in a decrease in longevity of implants. The goal of this study is do an in vitro evaluation of the effect of different body designs and threaded of dental implants, using the experimental technique of photoelasticity. For this Neodent implants will be tested with Morse taper interface, diameter: 3.5 mm and length: 13 mm, varying the design of implants and implant threads: 1- tapered body with double thread Alvim ®; 2- cylindrical body and double thread Titamax Ex ®; 3- tapered body with progressive double threads Drive ®. Were conducted a qualitative evaluation of the stress distribution generated by incidence of non-axial and axial loads, as well as quantitative evaluation of tension in the cervical, middle and apical thirds of the implants after incidence of these charges. The average values of maximum shear stress were subjected to analysis of variance for data with two factors studied (2 - Way ANOVA) followed by Tukey test for comparison between means. With this analysis, the group Alvim ® showed statistically significant higher concentration of stresses than other groups, comparing cervical points. when subjected to axial loading was obtained the average values of 16.05 ± 5.75 Kgf and not axial 25.03 ± 4.16 kgf significantly higher than the other groups tested. Regarding the medium and apical points there was no statistically significant difference between the groups .Was found that the implants Drive® showed better stress distribution over the implants compared to implants of the other groups / Mestrado / Cirurgia e Traumatologia Buco-Maxilo-Faciais / Mestre em Clínica Odontológica
