The series of works "The representation of naked fat woman in the photograph" is emphasized in intention to discuss and problematize the visual and the prevailing patterns of embodiment, as well as control devices that regulate bodies and agencies who manage and stocks all those bodys in esthetics hierarchies, and docile the existences. To catch the meaning, the series of photographs chosen for this research and presents transgressive and unholy powers from the idealized thin body. The artistic production of Fernanda Magalhães is inserted in the of contemporary scene of Brazilian art, where the body becomes central in the construction of masterpieces made from different types of languages. From the top, we investigate at first, the relationship between body, transgression and profanity in line with the theoretical articulations of the feminist movement, then the transgression and profanity in some studies in contemporary Brazilian art, culminating in the analysis of series of Magellan. The references and theoretical contributions focus on the History, Theory and Criticism of Art and Visual Culture Studies in dialogue with the Anthropology of the Body. / Esta pesquisa visa analisar as obras da artista visual paranaense Fernanda Magalhães (1962-) que tencionam os limites e potencialidades de representações do corpo na arte, em especial corpos volumosos. A série de trabalhos A representação da mulher gorda nua na fotografia é enfatizada com o objetivo de discutir e problematizar as visualidades e os padrões de corporeidades vigentes, assim como os dispositivos de controle e agenciamentos que normatizam corpos, gerenciam hierarquias estéticas e docilizam as existências. Nesse sentido, a série de fotografias eleitas para essa investigação apresenta potências transgressoras e profanadoras do corpo magro idealizado. A produção artística de Fernanda Magalhães insere-se em um panorama da arte contemporânea brasileira onde o corpo torna-se central na construção de obras realizadas a partir de diferentes linguagens. Dessa maneira, investiga-se em um primeiro momento a relação entre corpo, transgressão e profanação em consonância com as articulações teóricas do movimento feminista; em seguida, a transgressão e profanação em alguns trabalhos na arte contemporânea brasileira, culminando na análise da série de Magalhães. As referências bibliográficas e os aportes teóricos concentram-se na História, Teoria e Crítica da Arte e nos Estudos de Cultura Visual em diálogo com a Antropologia do Corpo.
