UAB gyvybės draudimo ,,Bonum Publicum" veiklos analizė ir tobulinimo galimybės / Analysis of action and possibilities of development of JS life insurance company "Bonum publicum"

Kiekviena gyvybės draudimo bendrovė turi pažinti ir suvokti draudėjų poreikius bei jų elgseną. Draudimo rinkoje veikia ne tik draudimo bendrovės, bet ir draudimo brokeriai. Darbo tikslas – įvertinti gyvybės draudimo ir draudimo brokerių veiklos reikšmę vartotojams. Atlikti gyvybės draudimo rinkos ir brokerių veiklos analizę, ir pateikti, gyvybės draudimo paslaugų, pardavimą skatinančius sprendimus. Darbo tyrimo objektas - UAB ,,Bonum Publicum“: atlikta jos veiklos sisteminė analizė, nustatyti lemiantys vartotojų/ klientų elgsenos veiksniai, įtakojantys gyvybės draudimo produktų pirkimo sprendimus. Magistrinis darbas susideda iš 3 dalių: 1) aptariama gyvybės draudimo ir brokerių veiklos reikšmė kitų mokslinių šaltinų autorių atžvilgiu; apžvelgiami vartotojų elgsenos veiksniai, darantys įtaką gyvybės draudimo produkto pirkimui; 2) atskleisti UAB gyvybės draudimo ,,Bonum Publicum“ veiklos, išorinės ir vidinės aplinkos veiksniai bei jos vartotojų/ klientų elgsenos ypatumus, apsisprendimą įsigyti gyvybės draudimo produktą; ištirti brokerių veiklos, nuo jų atsiradimo iki šių dienų, rezultatus; 3) apibendrinti UAB ,,Bonum Publicum“ vartotojų/klientų elgsenos tyrimo rezultatai, kurių metu įvertinti pagrindiniai veiksniai, įtakojantys sprendimą įsigyti gyvybės draudimo produkto priėmimo procesui. Not only insurance companies participate in the insurance market but insurance brokers are becoming more and more popular. The master’s work thesis is to estimate the importance of actions for consumers held by insurance companies and their brokers, to perform the survey of actions of life insurance and their brokers and to bring the solutions promoting selling up to discussion. The object of the research has been chosen a JS life insurance company of ‘’Bonum Publicum’’: systemic analysis of its activities has been performed to submit the determinants of consumers/clients influencing on decisions of the purchase of products of life insurance. 一、研究目的:本研究擬透過對歐美保險先進國家的評鑑制度的了解和現 行制度之問題分析,規劃出預警制度的設立藍圖,希望藉此促保險主管機 關能儘速建立一套完整的預警制度。二、研究內容:第一章為研究緒論, 提出本研究之研究動機、目的、範圍、研究大綱。第二章為保險業清償能 力之探討,說明清償能力之函意與其重要性,並概要指出影響壽險業清償 能力之主要原因。第三章探討歐美保險先進國家的預景模式,包括美國N AIC的保險監理資訊系統,美國貝斯特評價制度和ISI國際清償能力 報告。第四章為我國現行清償能力標準之規定和現行制度所面臨得問題。 第五章為探討預警制度之設立所應思考之問題及規劃方向。第六章為結論 。

Mobilní aplikace pro pojištěnce / Mobile applications for policyholders

Diploma thesis deals with mobile applications for policyholders in the segment of general insurance. Aims of thesis are to create an analysis of existing applications on market in the Czech Republic, reveal their shortcomings, design a new application and then create it and make it available for policyholders of all insurers. The first chapter of thesis contains definition of basic terms that are used later in text. Analysis of existing applications is the content of second chapter. It is based on examination of functions of existing applications and the reviews from users and experts. Design of the new application is described in chapter three and is included as a runnable HTML prototype on the attached disk. Description of implemented application is included in the next part of the third chapter and application itself is available for download from Google Play and can also be found on the attached disk. The main benefits of thesis are the analysis of mobile insurance applications market, the new application available for all policyholders, and some recommendations resulting from re-search for companies intending to produce their own application.

Critical factors for the financial success of South African short-term insurers

This study shows that managers of short-term insurers may improve their financial results if they can identify and manage the factors that are critical to their financial results. The development and application of the concept of critical success factors are therefore used as a basis for this study. The study reviews the functions performed by short-term insurers, focusing on the effect these functions have on their cash flows. Selection and pricing of risk are discussed in detail. The underwriting cycle in South Africa, and several possible causes of the cycle are investigated. Reinsurance, claims handling and rilanagement expenses are important components of the cash flows of short-term insurers and are therefore examined in detail. The optimum risk level at various combinations of underwriting and investment income is empirically tested, using the financial results of several insurers. The study investigates different approaches to the measurement of financial success of insurers, and the return on shareholders' funds is found to provide the fairest and most reliable method. Empirical comparisons are made on the financial results of the insurers that participated in the study to distinguish between those that are financially successful and those that are not. To discover what the industry consider to be their critical financial success factors, a postal survey was done of key decision makers in the South African short-term insurance industry. Respondents identified several success factors, but did not include some success factors discovered during the review of the literature. Respondents apparently experienced difficulty in separating strategic issues from operational ones. The survey revealed that the pricing of risk is problematic for short-term insurers. The importance of the investment function is also underestimated by the industry. The study concludes that the combined systematic risk of the investment and underwriting portfolios is a critical success factor, along with the capital base of the insurer, the ability of the insurer to use the leverage provided by using policyholders' funds as free reserves and the size and direction of an insurer's cash flows. / Business Management / D.
