Eliminace vnitřního pnutí v polykarbonátových výliscích / Elimination of internal stress in the polycarbonate moldings

Selucký, Jaroslav January 2017 (has links)
This diploma theses raises the issue of internal tension in two-component outer lense, which are made by injection of polycarbonate. The theses gives a more detail view on treatment of the lenses in heating ovens. Heating ovens have been used for decreasing the internal tension in lenses. The subject of the experiment is to determine the influences of the adjustable parameters of the heating oven. The Experiment will be taken by DoE method. The influence of the adjustable parameters is researched and compared among the two types of outer lense with different type of design.

Kompozitní tisk pro 3D FDM tiskárnu / Composite printing for 3D FDM printer

Műller, Jakub January 2018 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the study of 3D printing based on the FDM method. This method focuses on the possibility of using two extruders it means that the composite parts can be printed. This diploma thesis describes the available variants of composite printing currently on the market. Based on the gained knowledge and the availability of 3D printers and software, individual variants of composite parts were printed. A tensile test was performed on these samples to determine the strength characteristics. Additionally, compatibility and adhesion of two selected materials were tested. Based on the testing is made an evaluation of the achieved results, effectiveness and feasibility.

Vlivy působící na vznik a velikost interpenetrační vrstvy při lakování polykarbonátových výlisků / Influences on the Creation and Size of Interpenetration Layers During Lacquering of Polycarbonate Moldings

Svobodová, Hana January 2020 (has links)
Diploma thesis is focused on influences on the creation and size of interpenetration layers during lacquering of polycarbonate mouldings. In the diploma thesis there is a complete description of the production of the external lens for the automobile headlight. The experimental part consists of five experiments. The subject of the experiment is to find the most optimal process settings or other solutions that would lead to positive results of chemical tests. During the tests the individual phases of the production process are examined. After each experiment follows execution and evaluation of chemical tests in the reliability laboratory.

Návrh technologie výroby plastového držáku uhlíků / Design of manufacturing technology for plastic mount carbon

Fojtík, Jakub January 2011 (has links)
This master thesis deals with design of injection moulding technology for plastic holder of carbon brushes made of polycarbonate labelled Lexan 945A. The injection is performed into injection mould with hot runner system. Initially there is general study related to plastics and injection moulding technology. Further the study continues with injection moulds with hot runners and ends with computer analysis of injection moulding process. The designed injection mould for production of plastic holders is three-plate, double cavity mould with four hot nozzles and one parting plane, where one of the plates serves for mounting of the hot runner system inside the mould. This work contains part of the drawing documentation and item list of the injection mould. The selected injection moulding machine is Arburg Allrounder 370 U labelled 700-290 according to EUROMAP.

Mechanical Evaluation Methods for Polymer and Composite Systems

Wrublewski, Donna Theresa 01 February 2011 (has links)
This dissertation describes the development and application of various mechanical characterization techniques to four types of polymer composite materials. The composite nature of these materials ranges from molecular to macro-scale, as do the size scales probed by the techniques chosen. The two main goals of this work are to evaluate the suitability of existing characterization methods to new composite materials (and augment the methods as needed), and to use these methods to determine optimal composite system parameters to maximize the desired mechanical response. Chapter 2 employs nondestructive ultrasonic spectroscopy for characterizing the stiffness response of both micron-scale woven composites and macro-scale glass-polymer-glass laminates. Both traditional wavespeed measurement as well as aspects of resonant ultrasonic spectroscopy are applied to determine material parameters. The laminates are also examined in Chapter 3, which utilizes both large-scale and small-scale quasi-static and dynamic puncture tests to elucidate the size- and rate-dependence of dynamic behavior. Because of limitations encountered with these methods, a smaller-scale, more fundamental test is developed and applied which focuses solely on the deformation and delamination of the polymer. These two processes, which account for the vast majority of energy absorbed during a puncture event, can be evaluated in terms of self-similar process zone propagation process models. Identifying and optimizing the relevant model parameters can promote the design of systems with maximum energy absorption. Exploratory work on nanocomposite systems is presented in Chapter 4. The polymer matrix from the laminated systems of the previous chapter is used to produce nanosilica composites. A range of techniques are employed to determine the level of dispersion and the mechanical reinforcement provided. The final project presented investigates copolycarbonates, or molecular composites, that have been developed to lessen the detrimental effect of aging on mechanical properties. Mechanical and thermal measurements can elucidate the effect of structure, specifically molecular mobility, on susceptibility to physical aging. The differences in molecular mobility contribute to differences in energy absorption by plastic deformation and damage, which is required for material toughness. Thus, understanding the molecular structure allows for determination of an optimal structure or copolymer concentration to maximize fracture toughness.

Publik byggnad i Saltå / Public building in Saltå

Ardhe, Oskar January 2021 (has links)
The building is public and the program revolves around cultivation. Built on a steel frame, the exterior materials in the facade are polycarbonate and glass and consist of large openable door and window sections. The building consists of three climate zones, the first of which serves as a conservatory. The second climate zone is defined by a generous foyer that serves as a continuation of the public corridor that runs through the garden plots outside. The third climate zone is several separate rooms. Like the shell, the zones and rooms can be opened up with sliding window sections facing each other. In this way, the differences between the climate zones and indoors and outdoors merge into one another. The building has a butterfly-shaped roof with the purpose of utilizing rainwater, which in turn can be led to the internal greenhouse on the ground floor. The greenhouse in combination with the conservatory allows year-round cultivation. By integrating cultivation and also taking in and reflecting what is happening on the garden plots around, the hope is that the building will be experienced in continuity with its surroundings and encourage participation.
