This diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of a selected corporation and proposals for its solution. The first part of the thesis describes the theoretical basis of individual analyses and this part serves as a theoretical basis for their processing. In the second part of the work, the characteristic of the selected subject is given and according to the knowledge from the theoretical part, several analyses examining the current state are performed. Based on the results of the analyses, there are developed proposals which lead to improving the financial situation of the company.

The diploma thesis deals with the assessment of the information system in the joint-stock company UNIKOM a.s. The thesis is divided into three main chapters. The first chapter presents the theoretical background necessary to understand the concepts related to this topic in the field of information technology and information systems. This section also presents the analytical tools that were used to elaboration of analysis in the following section. The second chapter of this diploma thesis is focused on the company UNIKOM a.s. and analysis of its internal and external factors and assessment of the information system using selected methods. The output of the second chapter is information about problematic parts of the company and the IS. In the third part, the information obtained in the analysis section is used to create suggestions for improvement of the situation in the company.

The main aim of the thesis is to carry out a complex analysis of the problem of current situation in a company AUTOSHOP PAULUS, spol. s r.o. and its environment. Furthermore, based on results of the analysis and on the analysed state of the company, the thesis aims to draft measures leading to development of the company or to strenghtening of its position on the market and to raising its sales. The analysis of the company was based on: analysis of general and field environment, analysis of internal effects, financial analysis and SWOT analysis.

A poté navrhuje vhodné strategie pro expanzi firmy Burda Auction, s.r.o. na německý trh.

The aim of this thesis is to find an appropriate strategy, which the company should use in the future, This finding gives us a particular strategic and financial analysis. The outcome of these analyzes will be put in a SWOT analysis, where all the data will be summarized in individual points. Furthermore, a decision will be made based on the SWOT analysis, how the company should be run, in other words, we choose the future strategy from the particular SWOT quadrant.

In the analytical part will be analyses current state of the company. In Part of proposals will be the marketing strategy proposal itself with focus on marketing mix.

The company operates in the field of industrial filtration and manufactures custom technological complexes. Strategic analysis was used to evaluate external and internal factors that have an impact on the company. This evaluation reveals the strengths and weaknesses of the company and what opportunities and threats the company faces. The results put forward the proposals on the basis of which the economic situation of the company can improve.
