Užsiėmimų, paremtų šokio - judesio terapija, efektyvumas keičiant 18-25 m. merginų kūno vaizdą / The efficacy of sessions based on dance / movement therapy in altering body image of 18-25 years old girls

Tyrimo tikslas – įvertinti užsiėmimų, paremtų šokio-judesio terapija, efektyvumą keičiant 18-25 m. merginų kūno vaizdą. Tyrime dalyvavo 105 merginos iš Vytauto Didžiojo universiteto Socialinių mokslų fakulteto. Intervencinėje grupėje visame penkių užsiėmimų cikle dalyvavo 40 merginų, o lyginamojoje grupėje, paskaitoje ir abiejose apklausose dalyvavo 37 merginos. Intervencinės grupės tiriamieji dalyvavo penkiuose 1,5 val. trukmės, kartą per savaitę vykstančiuose, šokio judesio terapija paremtuose užsiėmimuose, skirtuose formuoti pozityvesnį savo kūno vaizdą. Lyginamoji grupė dalyvavo vienoje 2 val. trukmės paskaitoje apie valgymo sutrikimus, sutrikusį kūno vaizdą ir šokio-judesio terapijos taikymo galimybes. Siekiant nustatyti intervencinių užsiėmimų efektyvumą prieš intervenciją ir po jos tiriamųjų buvo prašoma užpildyti Kūno formos, Požiūrio į valgymą, užsiėmimų naudingumo vertinimo klausimynus, Teigiamų ir neigiamų emocijų, Susirūpinimo svoriu, Išvaizdos vertinimo, Pasitenkinimo kūno sritimis skalės. Taip pat, kiekvieną užsiėmimą (prieš ir po) tiriamosios pildė Teigiamų ir Neigiamų emocijų skales. Tyrimo rezultatai parodė, kad šokio-judesio terapija paremtuose užsiėmimuose taikomos poveikio priemonės yra efektyvios formuojant pozityvesnį kūno vaizdą, t.y. jaučiama daugiau teigiamų emocijų savo kūno atžvilgiu, mažiau– neigiamų, sumažėja susirūpinimas savo išvaizda ir svoriui ir pagerėja išvaizdos vertinimas 18-25 m. merginoms. [toliau žr. visą tekstą] / The aim of the research is to evaluate the efficacy of sessions based on dance/movement therapy in altering body image of 18-25 years old girls. 105 girls from Vytautas Magnus University Social Sciences Faculty participated in the research. 40 girls of the intervention group attended all of the five sessions based on dance/movement therapy. 37 girls of the control group attended a lecture and pre and post measuring. Once a week intervention group participants attended one and a half an hour duration sessions based on dance/movement therapy designed for improving body image. Control group participated in two hours duration lecture about eating disorders, distorted body image and the applicability of dance/movement therapy. In order to evaluate the efficacy of the sessions based on dance/movement therapy research participants filled in Body Shape, Eating Attitude, Evaluation of Sessions Utility Questionnaires, Positive and Negative Emotions, Weight Preoccupation, Appearance Evaluation, Appearance Orientation, Body Areas Satisfaction Scales. Research participants had to fill in Positive and Negative Emotions scales before and after each session as well. Systém prevence sociálně patologických jevů a jeho realizace v základních školách / System of the prevention of social-pathological illnesses and implementation of the system at primary schools

Our diploma thesis entitled ?The system of prevention of social and pathological phenomena and its implementation at elementary schools? engages in the analysis of possibilities and conditions for and approaches to the implementation of primary pre-vention at elementary schools. The objective of the present diploma is to describe how systems of primary prevention work on the regional and school levels; accordingly, we have performed a comparison of different approaches to this issue at selected schools in the regions of South Bohemia and Pardubice. We have analyzed programmes of the aforesaid regions on the conceptual level, observing the implementation of preventive programmes at particular schools (such as elementary or special). Furthermore, we have examined the assistance as actually pro-vided to schools during the formation of school preventive programmes and their influ-ence on pupils or students as such. We are also interested in how the possibilities that are on offer for the cooperation among schools are utilized and how schools make use of grant programmes provided by regional authorities. The present thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theo-retical part first characterizes and defines basic terms, explaining the most common so-cial and pathological phenomena with the largest impact on the young. Second, a men-tion is made of the system of prevention at both the school and regional levels. Accord-ingly, the practical part focuses on the analysis of school activities in the area of preven-tion, particularly the methodology of prevention, the support of the formation of preven-tive programmes and the influence such programmes have on children. The conclusion summarizes presuppositions and hypotheses which are men-tioned in the introduction. A sociological survey has been conducted at selected schools by means of questionnaires, which will be evaluated at the end of our thesis.

Psycho-sociální faktory stravovacích návyků a jejich prožívání u sportovců. / Psycho-social factors in eating habits and their perception among athletes.

The main goal of the diploma thesis is to examine the issue of psycho-social contexts of eating habits and their experience in athletes. The theoretical part summarizes the findings to date on the issue of nutrition and eating disorders in athletes and possible preventive measures. The empirical part presents qualitative research on a sample of six Czech and Slovak athletes. The research is carried out through a semi-structured in-depth interview and three diagnostic questionnaires. The information obtained is processed into individual case studies and an overall summary. Due to the size of the research population and the nature of the study, it is not possible to generalize the results to the entire population of athletes. In a specific research cohort, all respondents had a negative comment related to body weight or physical appearance as a risk factor leading to nutritional problems. The main protective factor for all respondents was social support and support from their relatives. The outputs provide many recommendations for athletes, coaches and other specialists who work with athletes.
