We highlight as the main directions of this work, the application of these in various areas of mathematics and the ability to work with such content in high school. We also emphasize the main theorems approached, which are the Inequality of Medium and theorems Ramsey and Dirichlet that are nontrivial applications of the Drawer Principle. / Neste trabalho apresentamos os principais conceitos de médias: Aritmética, Geom étrica, Harmônica e Quadrática e também o Princípio das Gavetas de Dirichlet. Destacamos como principais direções deste trabalho, as aplicações destes conceitos nas diversas áreas da matemática e a possibilidade de se trabalhar tais conteúdos no Ensino Médio. Ressaltamos também os principais teoremas abordados, os quais são, a Desigualdade das Médias e os Teoremas de Ramsey e de Dirichlet que são aplicações não triviais do Princípio das Gavetas.
