Nesse sentido,procuro enfatizar as ações empreendidas por sua principal associação representativa na esfera educacional, a partir de eventos nos quais as perspectivas dos professores ticunas entram em arenas diversificadas de negociação com distintos atores representantes de aparelhos administrativos do Estado brasileiro, por sua vez responsáveis pela elaboração, execução e acompanhamento das políticas públicas direcionadas à educação escolar indígena. Procuro debater esse tema à luz do contexto histórico das relações entre ticunas e segmentos da sociedade não indígena, sobre tudo aqueles associados a aparatos estatais, enfatizando as dinâmicas de poder envolvidas. _________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / This research presents an analysis of the political relations between the indigenous teachers of the Ticuna ethnicity and the Brazilian state, having as its ethnographic background the construction of the school education of this group, customary inhabitants of the Solimões River waterway in the state of Amazonas. Thus, I endeavor to emphasize the actions of their main association in the educational sphere based on the events on which the Ticuna teachers’ perspectives get into diverse arenas of negotiation with different representatives of the administration branches of the Brazilian state, which are responsible for the elaboration, execution and attendance of the public policies concerning indigenous school education. I aim to debate such theme centered on the historical context of the relations between the ticunas and other non indigenous sectors, mainly those associated to the state, emphasizing the dynamics of power at stake.
