Embora muitas vezes a escolha do sistema estrutural de um edifício seja influenciada por imposições arquitetônicas, por rotinas construtivas ou ainda pela infra-estrutura da região, cabe ao engenheiro de estruturas buscar, dentro das condições impostas, a alternativa estrutural que garanta maior economia. Com este trabalho pretende-se estabelecer uma relação entre os índices de consumo de materiais (concreto, aço e forma) e os respectivos custos, dentre vários sistemas estruturais em concreto armado. Para tal será analisado um edifício residencial, adotando-se várias opções, entre as quais: estrutura convencional com lajes maciças, lajes nervuradas e lajes pré-fabricadas, estrutura com laje lisa nervurada e estrutura com laje protendida, utilizando monocordoalhas engraxadas. Para que o levantamento de custos de cada alternativa seja o mais real possível, serão levados em consideração: materiais, mão-de-obra, tempo de execução e equipamentos necessários. / Despite the fact that many times the choice of the structural system of a building is influenced by architectural especifications, constructives processes or regional capability, the structural engineering has to look for, according to the conditions, the alternative that guarantees the lower cost. This work aims to establish a relation between the material consumption (concrete, stell and formwork) and the structural system cost, among the structural alternatives in reinforced concrete. It will be analised a residential building, considering some options: two-way slab systems with beams, waffle slabs, precast slabs, flat plate waffle slabs and prestressed slabs with unbonded tendons. In the cost computation, for each alternative it will be considered: materials, equipment, construction time and workmanship.

Ve druhé části jsou provedeny analýzy současného stavu, udržitelnosti, marketingu a konkurence akce. Návrhy a příspěvky jsou diskutovány ve třetí části. Jednotlivé metody, modely a nástroje byly vybrány pro maximální využití v rámci tohoto konkrétního projektu.

This diploma thesis deals with creating a project proposal of the research center construction according to the required specifications by SEDOX Company Ltd. The theoretical part describes the basic knowledge and tools of a project management – analytical tools for evaluating the financial and time project costs, also risk analysis relating to competitiveness and maintaining on top of the market. The third part is devoted to the current situation of the development application market. There is the complete proposal of the research centre construction, using the tools according to the IPMA (International Project Management Association) that were described in the theoretical part. In conclusion I have presented my own solution suggestions, their benefits, project sustainability, return of the investment cost and also long-term prosperity.

Analysis of Parameters Affecting Costs of Horizontal Directional Drilling Projects in the United States for Municipal InfrastructureJanuary 2010 (has links)
abstract: Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) is a growing and expanding trenchless method utilized to install pipelines from 2 to 60 inch diameters for lengths over 10,000 foot. To date, there are not many public documents where direct costs and bid prices incurred by HDD installations are available and analyzed. The objective is to provide a better understanding of the factors affecting the bid prices of these projects. The first section of the thesis analyzes how project parameters such as product diameter, bore length and soil conditions affect the bid price of water and wastewater pipeline installations using HDD. Through multiple linear regressions, the effect of project parameters on bid prices of small, medium and large rigs projects is extracted. The results were further investigated to gain a better understanding of bid factors that influence the relationship between total cost and the project parameters. The second section uses unit cost, based on bid prices, to compare the costs incurred by defined categories. Parameters such as community type, product type, soil conditions, and geographical region were used in the analysis. Furthermore, using average unit cost from 2001 to 2009, HDD project cost trends are briefly analyzed against the main variations of the US economy from the same time horizon by using economic indicators. It was determined that project geometric factors influence more the bid price of small rig projects than large rig projects because external factors including market rates and economic situation have an increasing impact on bid prices when rig size increases. It was observed that bid price variation of HDD projects over years followed the same trend as the US economic variation described by economic indicators. / Dissertation/Thesis / M.S. The theoretical part of this thesis deals with history and principles of project finance. It defines participants of the process as well. It explains project development and management. The analytical part describes a particular structure of project financing at a project of development of a commercial real estate. It advises of main issues which this type of financing can brings around. Therefore it provides recommendations and motifs for changes in order to achieve higher economical outcomes and to minimize financial risk of investors and creditors. Moreover it mentions necessary project and financial contractual arrangements which are to be concluded in the system of project finance. The conclusion of this thesis reflects stated goals from the introduction and gives key recommendations to investors for the future projects.

The aim of the diploma thesis „Alternative solution of investment project“ is to describe the investment project, its life stages and to determine its possible variant solution in terms of tradability with it. Based on the processed analysis and calculations, the work takes place on the difference between investment projects and determines the risks that could invest arise. The diploma thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part characterizes the concepts of housing construction, housing, real estate market, real estate valuation, construction project management and economic efficiency of the project. The selected investment project in the given locality is chosen for the diploma thesis. The practical part of this work identifies the location, determines the list of categories of housing units according to the investment project, determines the total cost of the investment project, prepares an analysis of the profitability of the investment project, calculates the economic efficiency of the investment project and finally evaluates the differences.
