El presente estudio de investigación titulado: “CONOCIMIENTOS ACERCA DE LOS CAMBIOS ANATOMO- FISIOLOGICOS EN LOS PÚBERES DE LOS CENTROS EDUCATIVOS DE LIMA. PROYECTO DE FORTALECIMIENTO”, tuvo como objetivo determinar el nivel de conocimientos que tienen los púberes de Centros Educativos de Lima acerca de los cambios anatomo- fisiológicos, con la finalidad de contar con información válida y confiable para plantear como estrategia un Programa de Fortalecimiento. El método es el descriptivo transversal. La muestra estuvo conformada por un total de 473 estudiantes de 10 a 14 años de edad. La información se recolecto mediante la aplicación de un Cuestionario a través de una Encuesta. Siendo las conclusiones : El nivel de conocimientos acerca de los cambios anatomo- fisiológicos en la mayoría de los púberes encuestados es medio. En cuanto a los conocimientos según sexo, la mayoría de los estudiantes de sexo femenino presentan un conocimiento de medio a alto y la mayoría de las estudiantes varones presentan un conocimiento de medio a bajo. En cuanto a los conocimientos según edad, la mayoría de los estudiantes entre 11 y 14 años de edad poseen un nivel de conocimiento. de medio a alto y la mayoría de los estudiantes de 10 años presentan un nivel de conocimiento de medio a bajo. En cuanto a los conocimientos según año de estudios, la mayoría de los estudiantes del Sexto grado del nivel primario presentan un nivel de conocimiento de medio a alto y la mayoría de los estudiantes del Quinto grado presentan un nivel de conocimiento de medio a bajo. / The present titled investigation study: "KNOWLEDGE PREPOSITION OF THE CHANGES ANATOMO - PHYSIOLOGIC IN THE PÚBERES OF THE EDUCATIONAL CENTERS DE FILES. As for the knowledge according to age, most of the students between 11 and 14 years of age possess a level of knowledge. of half to high and most of the 10 year-old students present a level of knowledge of half to under. As for the knowledge according to year of studies, most of the students of the Sixth grade of the primary level present a level of knowledge of half to high and most of the students of the Fifth grade present a level of knowledge of half to under.

El presente estudio evaluó 203 radiografías cefalométricas de pacientes niños entre los 10 a 16 años de edad, atendidos en Servicio de Ortodoncia del Departamento de Odontoestomatología del Centro Médico Naval “CMST” en diciembre 2007 y Enero 2008; para determinar la edad promedio del pico de crecimiento puberal en una población peruana mediante los estadíos de Maduración Esqueletal propuestos por Hassel Y Farman se encuentran dentro de los valores promedio con las poblaciones europeas que es de donde se han realizado la mayoría de trabajos de investigación, y observar si existen diferencias significativas entre hombres y mujeres. De los 203 pacientes, 85 pacientes (47 mujeres y 38 hombres) se encontraban dentro del pico de crecimiento puberal (Estadío 3), siendo la edad promedio para el sexo femenino 12,04 años de edad y para el sexo masculino 13 ,07años de edad. Al comparar nuestros resultados con estudios realizados en Europa, se encontró similitud entre estos. Pero al compararlo con trabajos realizados en el Perú se observó un retraso de año y medio aproximadamente en las mujeres y de un año en los hombres. Se encontró, mediante la Prueba t – student para variables independientes, diferencias significativas entre las dos medias de edades. / -- This study assessed cephalometric radiographs children of 203 patients between 10 to 16 years of age, served in Service of the Department of Orthodontics Odontoestomatología Naval Medical Center "CMST" in December 2007 and January 2008, to determine the average age of peak pubertal growth in a Peruvian population through the stages of skeletal maturation proposed by Hassel And Farman, are within the average values with the people of Europe that is where they have conducted the majority of research work, and see if there are significant differences between men and women. Of the 203 patients, 85 patients (47 women and 38 men) were within the peak of pubertal growth (stage 3), being the average age for females at 12,04 and for males at 13,07 years old. When comparing our results with studies conducted in Europe, was found similarities between them. But when compared with work performed in Peru there was a delay of approximately one and a half years in women and one year in men. We found, through trial t - student for independent variables, significant differences between the two middle age.
