Qualidade de vida no trabalho: o caso de enfermeiros dos Hospitais P?blicos Walfredo Gurgel e Santa Catarina

In this sense, as a contribution to the studies of quality of worklife (QOWL), this study addresses the quality of lifework of nurses at Walfredo Gurgel and Santa Catarina public hospitals. The goal is to make a diagnosis about the quality of lifework of these employees taking as a basis dimensions and performance indicators shown in the model by Fernandes (1996). The research is characterized by field, in a descriptive way. This survey comprised 75 nurses, with 49 by Walfredo Gurgel hospital and 26 by Santa Catarina one. The data collection was carried out through structured questionnaire. The questions were processed in the software Statistic 6.0, with factor analysis and multiple regressions, after the systematization of data. As a result, the most nurses in hospitals are dissatisfied with the quality of lifework, with the highest incidence in Santa Catarina hospital. The variable occupational health assessment was more negative in the hospital Santa Catarina one, whereas in Walfredo Gurgel, was family assistance. The variable guarantee of employment was more positive assessment in two hospitals without, though, implying in high importance on QOWL of nurses. The factor structure and decision showed greater sensitivity to explain the QOWL of nurses, joining 17 variables from 40 of the model. The factor working conditions, joining 6 variables, showed the second highest sensitivity. The compensation factor, gathering 5 variables, showed the third highest sensitivity while image and health factors showed minor importance / A fundamenta??o te?rica do presente estudo aborda o constructo Qualidade de Vida no Trabalho, envolvendo leitura pr?-ativa das organiza??es frente ? evolu??o social da classe trabalhadora, o que constitui um desafio ? gest?o de pessoas. Neste sentido, como contribui??o para os estudos de qualidade de vida no trabalho (QVT), o presente estudo aborda a qualidade de vida no trabalho de enfermeiros lotados nos hospitais p?blicos Walfredo Gurgel e Santa Catarina. O objetivo ? elaborar um diagn?stico acerca da qualidade de vida no trabalho desses servidores tomando como base dimens?es e indicadores de desempenho retratados no modelo de Fernandes (1996). A pesquisa ? caracterizada de campo, com car?ter descritivo. O universo pesquisado foi de 75 enfermeiros, sendo 49 do Walfredo Gurgel e 26 do Santa Catarina. A coleta de dados foi realizada atrav?s de question?rio estruturado. As quest?es foram processadas no software Statistica 6.0 , com an?lise fatorial e regress?o m?ltipla, ap?s a sistematiza??o dos dados. Como resultado, a maioria dos enfermeiros dos hospitais est?o insatisfeitos com a qualidade de vida no trabalho, sendo a maior incid?ncia no Santa Catarina. A vari?vel sa?de ocupacional teve avalia??o mais negativa no hospital Santa Catarina, ao passo que, no Walfredo Gurgel, foi assist?ncia familiar. A vari?vel garantia de emprego teve a avalia??o mais positiva nos dois hospitais. Sem, contudo, implicar em elevada import?ncia na QVT dos enfermeiros. Os fatores estrutura e decis?o mostraram maior sensibilidade para explicar a QVT dos enfermeiros, aglutinando 17 vari?veis das 40 do modelo. O fator condi??es de trabalho, aglutinando 6 vari?veis, mostrou segunda maior sensibilidade. Os fatores compensa??o, imagem e sa?de demonstraram import?ncia, por?m, com menor intensidade. Os resultados da pesquisa permitem concluir que componentes da estrutura e do processo decis?rio a exemplo de efic?cia nas comunica??es, novos m?todos de trabalho, participa??o e melhorias nos relacionamentos internos representa maior express?o na QVT superando, dentre outros, o fator compensa??o, que re?ne vari?veis como sal?rio e benef?cios
