Raman spectroscopy experiments were performed as a function of temperature from 25 up to 115 ° C for the L-lysine. HCl.2H2O crystal. It was found that this crystal exhibits a phase transition at 55 ° C. The phase transition was identified by changes in Raman spectra in the spectral range from 35 to 3600 cm-1 . The transition was confirmed by X-ray diffraction experiments and thermal analysis. While no phase transition caused by temperature variation in the range of -193 to 127 ° C was observed through infrared spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction experiments for DL-lysine.HCl crystal. This crystal was also studied by Raman spectroscopy under high pressures up to 9.8 GPa, where the spectra in the range of 40 to 1200 cm-1 presented changes between 2.2 and 4.0 GPa that were associated with phase transition. Under decompression this transition proved to be reversible. / Cristais de monocloridrato de L-lisina dihidratada (L-lisna.HCl.2H2O) e cristais de monocloridrato de DL-lisina (DL-lisina.HCl) foram crescidos e suas estruturas cristalinas foram confirmadas por experimentos de difração de raios-X e refinamentos de Rietveld. Através de estudos realizados por experimentos de espectroscopia Raman em função da temperatura no intervalo de 25 a 115 oC para o cristal L-lisina.HCl.2H2O, constatou-se que esse cristal apresenta uma transição de fase a temperatura de 55 oC. A transição de fase foi identificada pelas mudanças ocorridas nos espectros Raman no intervalo de 35 a 3600 cm-1. A transição foi confirmada através de experimentos de difração de raios-X e análises térmicas. Enquanto nenhuma transição de fase provocada pela variação da temperatura no intervalo de -193 a 127 oC foi observada através dos experimentos de espectroscopia infravermelho e difração de raios-X para o cristal DL- lisina.HCl. Este cristal também foi estudado através de espectroscopia Raman submetido a altas pressões até 9,8 GPa, em que os espectros no intervalo de 40 a 1200 cm-1 apresentaram alterações entre 2,2 e 4,0 GPa que foram associadas a transição de fase. Sob descompressão essa transição mostrou-se ser reversível.
