Nastolování agendy ve vybraných lokálních médiích vlastněných městy (tzv. radničních listech) v Pardubickém kraji v roce 2020 / Concept of agenda setting in municipality-owned media (know as City hall newspapers) in Pardubicky region during year 2020

Kubištová, Dominika January 2021 (has links)
This thesis discusses the phenomenon of the so-called "town hall newspaper" across the Pardubice Region during 2020. These journals are classified by relevant literature as hyperlocal media, being produced for a relatively limited group of people, mainly inhabitants of one city and its suburbs. The thesis goal is to describe the work routine of these regional journals during 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic began to spread in the Czech Republic. In the practical part, there is a description of the press offices in the four smallest towns and the four largest cities of the Pardubice Region. The thesis explains their choice of topics and sources and describes making an article published in the hyperlocal media. The thesis author gathered these data via triangulation of methods. She had created a content analysis of three particular publications of each newspaper from 2020 that she used to prepare the look of the semi- structured interviews with the "town hall newspaper" office members. The main has been to describe the working routine of these journals in a more detailed way, not just in 2020.

Uplatňování propagandy a metod řízení a regulace regionálního tisku v Československu 1948-1956 (na příkladu direktiv KV a OV KSČ a libereckého regionu) / x

Groman, Martin January 2011 (has links)
English abstract The use of propaganda and methods of governing and regulation of the regional press in Czechoslovakia during 1948-1956 (using the example of the guidelines of KV and OV KSČ and the region around Liberec) The presented study follows the development of censorship and the methods of media and press control in Czechoslovakia from 1948 to1953, and in particular during 1956. This study focuses mainly on the methods and processes used by the Czechoslovak Communist Party to dominate the media and how it concentrated namely on the relationship between local and regional media and the centralized governance under the powerful influence of the Czechoslovak Communist Party. After February of 1948, the mass media in Czechoslovakia took on a different role than the one it had up until that time. Even so, up until 1953, there was no official censorship office and the media fell under the jurisdiction of the Party apparatus, or alternately under the Ministries of Education, Science and Arts or Information, which accordingly managed and influenced media content. However, it was still under the curatorship of the UV Czechoslovak Communist Party, as the following work will show. As will also be shown, after February of 1948 the Communist Party was unable to gain influence over society at various levels and...

O meio ambiente na mídia regional : estudo de caso do Jornal Valeparaibano em 2007 / The environmental in the regional media: case study of the Valeparaibano newspaper in 2007

Selma Cristina Silveira Rocha Leite 27 March 2009 (has links)
In this research was analyzed the information contents about environment published in 2007 in the Valeparaibano newspaper, based in São José dos Campos, a city located at the Paraíba Valley, State of São Paulo, Brasil. The main objectives that guided this study were to investigate the treatment given to the environmental problems by that newspaper, the prioritized themes covered in the articles and, therefore, to lead to a discussion about the possibilities of its contribution to the environmental education of the people that lives in its area of coverage. The quantitative and qualitative studies evaluated the matters presented in the website of the newspaper, specifically in the regional section, in a total of 312 editions; from this, it was resulted 359 texts classified as Informative Journalism category, of which was selected 113 texts as report genre, objects of this study. The material selected to the analysis was the report genre because it should present the information in an extended, contextualized and detailed configuration. The results of the research show that the reports are, in its majority, guided by events not forecasted (factual events), informing the society about the main environmental problems of today but in a fragmented and poorly contextualized form. One of the conclusions of this study is that the reports prepared on the basis of scientific studies are those that have greatest potential to contribute to the construction of an environmental conscience. This conclusion leads to a reflection in two different points of the journalistic productions: the importance of creating a fixed section related to regional environmental questions in this newspaper and, at the same time, the need for greater dissemination of scientific studies by the researchers of this area in the regional press.
